About the home

This delightful detached house is located just minutes from the lovely fishing village of Fethard-on-Sea. The house is well presented and very comfortable - just perfect for a family holiday. The master bedroom is very comfortable with king-size bed and TV. There is a further double bedroom and a twin bedroom on this level. Downstairs the lounge dining and kitchen is a welcoming and attractive open plan area opening out to the terrace outside, which has gas BBQ and outdoor table and chairs. There is a further single bedroom on the lower level which has sofa and TV with nearby shower room.
This room can also act as a den area. Outside the garden is grassed and is a great place for children to play. There is plenty of outdoor furniture as well as bicycles, golf clubs and various games and chairs to take to the beach if you wish. There is parking in the front garden for 2 cars. This is a terrific house for a family holiday and is very convenient to lots of amenities.

Flexible on arrival days/times. Local produce available when in season in village. walking distance to village, fabulous walks to harbour, beaches. Quiet cul de sac. Back Garden private with chiminea for sitting out at night on the deck - chilling out with beer and wine after a nice BBQ!! Gets morning sun at side of deck which then moves round to entire deck by end of day. A sun trap!!

Beautiful deck with private garden that gets the sun from early morning to late evening. Games available (swing ball, crocket, boules) plus fishing rods, golf clubs, boards and chairs for the beach. Gas BBQ provided but must be left clean or charge will be incurred. Chiminea on deck for nite time fires. Well maintained mature garden with lovely and some unusual plants. Parking for two cars.

The South East Ireland / County Wexford region

The lovely house is located beside the fishing village of Fethard on Sea in a small development of just 30 houses. The village is a 3 minute walk where you will find everything required for your everyday needs - even a Chinese take away!. Dont miss the fresh local produce market in Fethard hall each Saturday. Historic Wexford is 25 minutes drive and Waterford is also 25 minutes via the ferry which the kids will love.

The old town of New Ross, is worth the 30 minute drive - the shopping is good and the Dunbrody Famine Ship is worth a visit. The quaint village of Kilmore quay has some wonderful pubs with great restaurants. Duncanon has a great beach that you can drive onto which is great plus with kids. Hook Head Lighthouse is a must to visit. There are wonderful walks in this area and the scenery is breathtaking. There is no end of lovely beaches to choose from in this area and beyond. Local pitch & putt nearby - clubs in house. Highly recommended for family holiday.

The Fethard-On-Sea / Fethard area

Pubs, restaurants, shop, chemist, childrens playground, chinese restaurant and takeaway, country market every bank holiday weekend and weekends during the summer. Local fish for sale on Saturdays.
Local rural bus service available on different days.
Great Tourist office and coffee shop with wi-fi.

Tinertin Abbey - 10 mins drive. Lovely walks, coffee shop and historic ruins.

Wexford and Waterford only 30 mins drive away. Lovely day out.

“Home from Home- Wonderful” 12 the clovers, a wonderful property with all you would expect and more, to ensure your vacation is one to remember. The property is light, modern, clean and well furnished. The garden is a delight, well maintaned with the added benefits of a decked area, barbeque, seating arrangements for all the family and friends. You never really know what to expect when booking accomodation, I can say we were very happy with the clovers and will look to return in the near future. It is also perfect for exploring the region.

“This rental continues to live up to its usual magnificent standard” This was our third time to stay at this property and as usual it was brilliant. Everything we needed was there and of a very high standard. Its location also meant that beaches, shops, playgrounds were all very accessible.

“Great house for family and close to village and beach” Myself and my husband and our 5month old stayed here. Great location able to walk to village fethard on sea and beach. Nice decking outside the house for sunny evenings. Loads of really nice places a drive away. Will definitley pay a visit again.

“Fantastic House & Fethard on Sea is a great location to explore Wexford” The house is perfect and the secure south facing garden is a great asset. There were 4 adults and two 2 year olds in the house for the week. We had plenty of space and the estate is lovely and quiet and it was great to see children playing on the green. The house is only a short stroll into the village of Fethard on Sea. This is a lovely village, has everything that a young family would need - playground, Londis that sell proper ice-cream cones and Neville's pub and restaurant has excellent food. We would highly recommend this house to anyone holidaying in Wexford. Hook Lighthouse and Duncannan are on your doorstep. There are fabulous walks around the beaches and if it rains you can take the ferry over to Passage East and go to Splashworld in Tramore or there in an indoor play area in New Ross. If the adults fancy a treat then head to Dunbrody House for dinner.

“A home away from home” The Clovers is a home away from home in Fethard on Sea. The house was both cosy and immaculate and it very comfortably accomodated the 4 adults and 2 kids we had staying. Nevilles with its excellent food and atmosphere is within a couple of minutes walk as is the rest of the village and the beautiful beaches are all close by. It made for a lovely break. I will definitely be booking this house again. Maureen Stuart

“Homely and cosy house in the sunny south east” We loved our stay in this cosy house on the edge of Fethard on Sea in the sunny south east of Ireland. We enjoyed blue skies and sunshine so we were able to have breakfast and sometimes dinner on the patio / decking and make full use of the garden furniture. We explored the area easily from this location and really enjoyed our walks on lots of the small beaches in the general area. There are lots of places for good food in the locality so we had a good mix of eating out and eating "at home". We had busy days sightseeing and walking so it was always great to come home to such a comfortable place and have a great nights sleep in a big comfy bed.

“Great location for enjoying the seaside and exploring the countryside” This cottage has all the comforts of home,we found all we required, the owners have thought of everything.The garden at the back is ideal for children and adults alike,complete with patio.gas bar b q and chiminea,beautiful clear night skies to stargaze while toasting your toes and enjoying a glass of wine after a long day on the beach or rambling the lovely Irish country roads, or you could dander up to the village pub,have a glass of stout and a bit of craic with the friendly locals.There is a supermarket there and we were able to get everything we needed for simple meals.

“Fantastic - loved the house and area” The house is fantastic (has all you need) and in a great location. The surrounding area has lots to offer - great for walks, wonderful restaurants and the beach close by. Perfect for families.

“Great place for a family break” We had a wonderful time in Fethard. The house was a good size and the garden at the back was excellent.
