"A home away from home"

This is a cottage we keep returning to time and time again. It is a stress free drive from the Dun Laoghaire ferry and cottage is easy to find. The cottage itself is really homely and well equipped. It's only a short walk to the harbour to see the fishing boats or a stroll to the local village where we have had many a great night in Nevilles. On this trip we also visited the Hook Head (lighthouse on headland with dramatic waves) and Waterford. Both worth a trip if you can drag yoursefl away from the peace and tranquility of the cottage.
The cottage is owned by a family who make every effort to make sure you enjoy your stay e.g. on a previous winter visit we arrived to find the fire lit for us, a lovely welcome after journey from UK.

"This beautiful cottage is the real Ireland"

My friend and I had done a lot of researching before staying at this cottage in September. When we pulled up to the drive at the Innyard cottage, we were just stun by its beauty. We first lingered in the garden before entering. Once inside we were even more pleasantly surprised. The kitchen was more than equipped, the peat fireplace was stocked with peat and the bedrooms were comfy. The cottage is filled with little notions, books of the area and a personal touch is all around. It is very cozy and we felt at home right off. I spent a lot of time in the garden because it was so very beautiful and I even fed the birds. The neighbors were very friendly and a special thank you to Mich. There is great food and pubs in the little town. It is a great location for many trips out in the area. Be sure to see Hook Lighthouse also. We made many friends there and it was hard to leave Feathard On The Sea. The owners have been superb to work with. The cottage is everything they described and more. This cottage is the real deal (Ireland). I will defiantly be back to the Innyard Cottage soon. Deborah Texas,USA
