This south facing townhouse has two bedrooms and is built on two levels.You enter the house on the upper level , which has open plan dining and living room areas , along with log fire place and opens out onto a beautiful large decking terrace where you can watch the sunset over the water and the fishing boats past the 17th century castle of Ferragudo. The bedrooms are on the lower floor ,both which are en suite , with the master bedroom opening out onto its own private sun terrace.Both bedrooms have double beds. Air conditioning is fitted in all main rooms. Kitchen equipment includes washing machine and dishwasher. Cable and Satellitte tv is provided in the property,High speed internet is available for a small charge. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and the village square with shops and cafes 5 minutes .

The area is filled with history with many bautiful villages a short distance away.The West Coast and Cape St Vincent and the Monchique mountains are well worth a visit.
The new motorway has enabled a straight drive to Lisbon in 2 and half hours and Spain in the opposite direction in 2 hours.
Ferragudo / Vila Castelo Resort area
Situated between Carveiro and Portimao. Vila Castelo is a luxury development in a fantastic location with stunning views of the sea and the marina.
A couple of waterparks are nearby for the children and tickets can be booked at the reception
There are many events during the year ,including the Dakar rally,Formula One Powerboat and the Masters Senior Tennis Tounament (McEnroe,Connors,etc)
How to get there
Many airlines now fly to the Algarve. easyjet, Monarch,BA, First choice , etc. If you use skyscanner.net it will give you different options on airlines and price. Journey time by taxi is around 45 minutes and will cost around 70 euros.
By car is very easy from the airport follow the motorway signs for Portimao and then onto Estombar and Ferragudo.the resort of Vila Castelo is signposted.
