About the home

The most Romantic of settings overlooking the Arade, the castle and the Atlantic Ocean. There are two balconies, one ff the Lounge, one off the Bedroom. They both face West , the Sunsets from these balconies are something to behold. 100 + metres from Clube Rio is the beautiful Church overlooking Ferragudo. A few metres further on are the steps, winding through quaint Alarvian Houses down to the Main Square. Here you will find snack bars and restaurants by the plenty. A stroll along the pretty harbour with the local fishermen mending their nets, you will find some of the best fish restaurants on the Algarve. One of these is "Sueste" where I am told one of Ferragudo`s more famous residents "Jose Mourinio" frequents. The owner of "Sueste" runs a water taxis across the Arade to the "Casino" for those wanting a little more excitement

A Beautiful Climate with over 300 days of sunshine a year fanned by gentle Atlantic breezes makes for the perfect climate. Golf on the Algarve is second to none with a fantastic choice of courses to suit all standards.
Quaint Villages to busy seaside towns, the Algarve has it all, A Sardine lunch washed down with a local wine is a must do.

The Ferragudo area

A visit to the quaint town of Monchique in the mountains with a stop on the way in the beautiful hamlet of "Caldez" is a must. Portimao where the sardine boats come in is a wonderful place to visit for shops and that sardine lunch, or just sit back on the balcony of the apartment and watch the wonderful array of boats go by.
For Golf enthusiasts there are 5 golf courses, all within a 12 minute drive.
