Ferragudo is a small Fisher Village, Very quiet and very well located. In the main square you can find some littles shops, banks, post, and a variety of restaurants.
How to get there
Directions to Ferragudo From Faro airport follow the blue signs to join the motorway heading towards Portimão. Stay on the motorway until Junction 6 - Lagoa/Silves exit (approx. 25 minutes from the airport) DO NOT STAY ON TO PORTIMAO. At the end of the slip-road turn left at roundabout towards Lagoa Follow signs for Lagoa West Then join the EN125 going towards Portimão and Estombar Stay on the EN125 for about 3-4 minutes after Lagoa. Take the first exit signed Estombar/Parchal and Ferragudo. The slip road circles round over the EN125. At the first set of the traffic lights go straight on. Go through Parchal then turn left at the traffic lights (signed to Ferragudo). Follow the road into Ferragudo village, take the 2nd bridge on the right (towards the main square), then turn immediately to the left. Follow the signs to the Beach (Praia) and Castle (Castelo), this takes you to the right then up a hill with a right hand bend at the top, once around the corner you will see the beach and the castle.
