About the home

The traditional architecture and the beautiful landscaping places the properties at Vila Castelo, FERRAGUDO in a class of their own. The houses share the heated swimming pool (In the winter) and its elegant terraces, where you can relax and enjoy a cooling drink or a light lunch from the poolside helpful service.
Each of the spacious properties is tastefully furnished and offer quality that is rarely seen in holiday accommodation. Equipment includes a dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning and heating for winter comfort. Cable TV is installed in all of the properties.

You can select the property that suits your needs from two bedroom townhouses through to villas with private pools - the choice is yours. You may also stay with us in a penthouse with two great suits and lounges and wonderful sea views. ALL within wlaking distance to the beach and local village.

There is a reception open 6 days a week and a pool with snack bar available for your enjoyment daily in the summer !

All homes are air conditioned in all bedrooms and lounge; the kitchens are fully equipped with dishwasher and washing machine, oven/hob etc.

A fabulous and safe sandy beach is just in front at the development; a tennis club and the mayor Algarve golf courses are within 8 minutes drive. Complementary transport is provided to slide and slapsh Water Park and zoomarine

All the water sports opposite the location and fantastic cliff edge walks and bird watching. Fishing, diving, a gym very closeby, tennis club, golf courses all within 5 minutes drive.

We take care of all your ticket booking at no charges for the water slide parks, animal parks, restaurants, tennis, golf, boat trips etc

Swimming pool activities : Mondays massages by the pool, tuesday barbecues at 7pm, fridays water aerobics and much more !

Conditions

One day is our minimum stay in the winter and three days in teh summer and you can stay forever if you wish being our maximum ! Winnter long lets available as houses are very confortable and with air conditioning system and soem with fireplace with incorporated burning stove.

At this village you may live like a local and you wish never to leave us as so calm and wonderfully relaxing.

The views are special to the sea, beach and a marina as well as a historical castle.

The Algarve is a very pleasant place, where you can have a unforgetable holiday, with a wonderful climate all year round.
It is the prefect location for the golf pratice as there are many championship courses just 5 minutes drive away.
Tennis and sports centre also closeby near Carvoeiro and also at Portimão.

The Ferragudo / Vila Castelo Resort area

Ferragudo is a small Fishing Village, Very quiet and very well located with everything within a few minutes walk.
In the main square you can find some littles shops, banks, post, and a variety of restaurants. In the summer months there is live music every weekend you may dance or just enjoy the music and watching the locals and tourists having Fun !
Portimão has so many summer festivals as well as Lagoa town and Carvoeiro, just check our web site or ask us for the events while you here.
Night life and shopping just across the water by water taxi at portimão and Praia da Rocha.
So much more...
The slide and splash is just a few minutes drive away and also they have a pick up service. The Zoomarine is also a fun day out for the whole family check our brochures for that and all the animal shows with dolfins, birds etc, boat trips, trips to Lisbon, Fatima or Sevilhe also possible, Monchique and Silves locally and so much more to explore while here on vacation.

Directions to Ferragudo
From Faro airport follow the blue signs to join the motorway heading towards Portimão.
Stay on the motorway until Junction 6 - Lagoa/Silves exit (approx. 25 minutes from the airport)
DO NOT STAY ON TO PORTIMAO.
At the end of the slip-road turn left at roundabout towards Lagoa
Follow signs for Lagoa West
Then join the EN125 going towards Portimão and Estombar
Stay on the EN125 for about 3-4 minutes after Lagoa.
Take the first exit signed Estombar/Parchal and Ferragudo. The slip road circles round over
the EN125. At the first set of the traffic lights go straight on.
Go through Parchal then turn left at the traffic lights (signed to Ferragudo).
Follow the road into Ferragudo village, take the 2nd bridge on the right (towards the main
square), then turn immediately to the left.
Follow the signs to the Beach (Praia) and Castle (Castelo), this takes you to the right then
up a hill with a right hand bend at the top, once around the corner you will see the beach and
the castle.
Take the road to your right, Vila Castelo is up on your right hand side overlooking the castle.
Turn right on the corner, reception is on the left hand side.
