The East Anglia region
The 'Garden Resort of the East Coast' Felixstowe is an Edwardian seaside town that has retained its charm over the ages. An ideal base to explore Suffolk, easy reach of Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park, Framlingham Castle and Constable Country. Woodbridge and Ipswich have Museums and good shopping centres.
Felixstowe is a lovely seaside resort and has many fine restaurants and bars. It also has a pier where you can enjoy amusements or do a bit of sea angling. It is a favourite place with holidaymakers as a base for exploring further afield and seeing the county of Suffolk, its coasts, heaths and market towns.
With five miles of coastline to explore you will find one of the countries most important coastal nature reserves, sandy beaches, the litle fishing hamlet of Felixstowe Ferry and a bustling seafront with all the attractions expected of a seaside holiday.
We include the passes so all facilities on Felixstowe Beach site including Club, Indoor Pool, etc are available to our guests.
Privately owned and managed, our caravan has been described as 'Home from Home' with many parties returning year after year.
Suffolk Sands is next door to the Languard nature reserve and Languard Fort, having spent time walking around the reserve you can relax at the Port's view point watching the container boats come and go and the occasional cruise liner leaving Harwich, a small foot ferry takes people between Harwich, Shotley and Felixstowe during the summer. The site is close to the local Sunday Market, if you want to explore further afield then you are close to Aldeburgh, Snape and many more small villages along the rivers Deben and Orwell.

"A very good caravan on a pleasant site BUT ....."
We would fully endorse previous positive comments regarding the quality of the caravan and the site in general but for us there was a major issue regarding noise from the nearby docks. Felixstowe is E… More
Sorry to hear that the noise from the port caused a problem, generally, according to feedback left in our guest book, this is not an issue but this was one of the very few occasions that it did cause an issue (wind direction can be part of the problem) We are glad to say that we have many repeat bookings.

"Fantastic weekend, clean cosy and comfortable"
Well situated at the port end of Felixstowe a short walk along the front to main shops etc.
Lovely clean and spacious static, with full central heating and a great shower. Plenty of storage space. A lack of crockery and kitchen equipment if you wanted to prepare anything other than basic meals.
We were staying for a friends wedding and it was just the job. Highly recommended, excellent value.
Naughty treat the Regal fish bar - be warned HUGE portions sit and watch the waves ..
We always appreciate feedback so that we can improve peoples experience, we have reviewed the kitchen equipment (which meets the standard items found in a holiday caravan) but have added some additional equipment to give our guests the option of cooking more than a basic meal, thanks for your lovely comments.
