With a lawn area leading from the lounge around the pool this mature garden along with the granite from the house gives a feeling of freshness and makes the house cool and comfortable in the Summer. Ideal holiday for families with children's or large groups.Wheelchair friendly. Situated 4 miles from Felgueiras and 10miles from both Amarante and Guimaraes which are both historical cities, awaiting recognition from the World Patrimonial UNESCO.
35 miles from the airport at Oporto (LPPR) by motor-way this including one mile on the national road.

On the lower ground floor - There is a good size Kitchen, utility room adjoining kitchen with ironing board, and situated off the kitchen a large dining room with wood burning fire, all of them with french doors leading out to the garden.The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher, washing machine, stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster etc
On the ground floor - there are 5 en-suite bedrooms, a games/reading room, good size lounge with TV satelite, music centre, DVD and french doors leading out to the garden and the main entrance.
On the 1st floor - there are 2 en-suite bedrooms
Lift located on the ground floor leading to lower ground floor
Outdoors on the annex cottage there are 4 dupplex en-suite bederooms
Outdoors,on the top of the annex cottagel ocated by the pool there is a games room, , with music and table tennis, etc.
Cleaning/towels and linen are provided. Linen changed weekly. Towels twice weekly. Maid service on request

The Costa Verde region


The City of Felgueiras, set in the upper part of the Sousa Valley, encloses about 116 km2, distributed by 32 parishes.
Marked by the exceptional entrepreneurship of its people, it is responsible for 50% of the national footwear export, by 1/3 of the best Green Wines of the Region and by a prized cultural patrimony. Felgueiras is one of the cities with the highest development levels in the Northern part of the country.
Felgueiras derives, therefore, from the word felgaria, which means "land covered by ferns which are red-coloured when dry " (rubeans or rúbeas).
