The house sits on almost one acre of secured grounds which are ideal for children to safely explore. It has a large private kidney shaped pool, surrounded by both palm and olive trees.

The Var is situated just outside of Cannes and is easily accessible to all the popular coastal resorts of the French Riviera. There is plenty to do and lots to see, with an abundance of historical sites, beautiful gardens and of course those lovely sandy beaches. Watersports are available across the coast. Being near to Lac de St Cassien this property has the added bonus for more gentle water pursuits such as fishing, canoeing, rowing or pedaloes.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
France's famous Cote d'Azur is located in the far south-east of France, and stretches from St Tropez to the Italian border. Long renowned as a glamorous destination thanks to glitzy resorts such as Monaco, Cannes and St Tropez, the Cote d'Azur is also home to smaller, quieter hidden gems such as Antibes, Fréjus & Menton & Juan-les-Pins.
Away from the coast, you will find the idyllic countryside of Provence, where life proceeds at a slower pace. Medieval villages are surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, indicating the region's proximity to the Mediterranean. The Provenceaux have a well-deserved reputation for appreciating "the good life", and you will soon find yourself surrendering to the charms of the laid-back local lifestyle, with a pastis in the evening, a glass of good local wine with your "daube de sanglier" or "bouillabaisse", or maybe a fresh "Salade Nicoise". Everything is freshly prepared with the very best local ingredients.
As if this wasn't enough, Provence has a reputation for being one of the most beautiful regions in the world. Stunning natural wonders such as the Gorges de Verdon and the Esterel coast line are complemented by man-made sites and cultural wonders, such as the many perfectly-preserved old villages, clinging precariously to the sides of hills.
Fayence / Seillans area
The village of Seillans is a spectacular example of the uniquely Provencal "perched villages". Proudly bearing the title of one of the most beautiful villages in France, its narrow cobblestoned streets seem to have been left alone by the passing of the centuries. In the summer, the village's squares come alive with vegetable markets, artisans' markets and even classical and pop concerts.
There's also plenty to do in the local area, from the Cotes de Provence "Route du Vin" (10 minutes away by car), where one can enjoy a tasting, to the spectacular Gorges de Verdon with its impossibly turquoise water, just one hour. Near the gorges, you will find perhaps the most iconic Provencal view of all: the vast lavender fields, stretching as far as the eye can see. Pure magic!
Provence is also a perfect destination for the outdoor enthusiast, with the beautiful Lac St. Cassien, possibly Europe's top fresh water angling spots, just 20 minutes away by car. Tennis, cycling and horse riding can also all be found on the door step, and the region boasts hundreds of kilometres of walking trails, taking in all the region's diverse landscapes, from lakes and mountains to forests. If golf is your sport, meanwhile, the 5-star Four Seasons resort is just 7km away and offers dozens of top-class courses to choose from.
If you find yourself longing for the bright lights, then you will also be spoilt for choice: Cannes, with its famous beaches and annual film festival, is a ere 45-minute car journey away. The glitzy glamour capitals of Monaco and St Tropez are each just an hour and a half away, and offer a unique opportunity to see "how the other half live"!
How to get there
Villa L'Adret is approx 45 mins drive from Nice airport and I 1/2 hours drive from Marseille airport. There are a variety of car rental hire companies at Nice Airport however from personal experience we have found Hertz to provide the best service.

The outside terrace with stunning views of Seillans village is furnished with table and chairs, a parasol and an original built in barbecue. There is also a gas barbecue.
