Les Rouges-Gorges is located just 5 minutes’ drive from Lac St. Cassien, and 10 minutes drive from the local village of Montauroux, and shopping facilities. It is in a quiet and peaceful location, yet only fifteen minutes from the larger town of Fayence with its frequent provencal markets. A variety of family friendly restaurants are within ten minutes drive.
The house benefits from its own private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious covered terrace with beautiful south facing views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With three double en suite and one single bedroom, the house is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. The house has recently been completely refurbished with new bathrooms and well equipped kitchen facilities.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
This area of France has a variety of interesting places to see and things to do. The coastal towns of Antibes, Cannes, St. Raphael, St. Maxime and Frejus are all between 30 to 45 minutes minutes drive away. The coastline stretches from Monaco down towards Marseille in the south west. Monaco, St. Tropez and Aix en Provence are all 1 - 2 hours drive away. Although in the height of the summer it would be wise to use the fast ferry service from St Raphael to St. Tropez.
Fayence / Montauroux area
Montauroux is a beautiful hilltop village with panoramic views over the area including neighbouring Callian with its stunning Chateau. Montauroux is situated between the beautiful towns of Fayence and Grasse. Shopping facilities are within 5 - 10 minutes by car. Lac St. Cassien is within 5 minutes drive from the house, where you can walk, fish, swim or enjoy the pedalos. There is golfing facilities at the Terre Blanche Golf Course which is 10 minutes drive away.

Further details indoors: Accommodation comprises entrance hallway, lounge/dining area with open fireplace leading out onto covered terrace, fully fitted and equipped kitchen, staircase to first floor en suite bedroom with walk-in shower. Ground floor master en suite bedroom leading to terrace. Single bedroom and separate WC. Under the terrace there is a separate self contained garden studio with double bed and singe sofa bed, en suite bathroom and small kitchenette. The garden studio is close to the swimming pool.
Further details outdoors: The house is set in its own private garden. The pool being south facing, is in a sunny position for most of the day. There is an outside shower adjacent to the pool. There are plenty of tables and chairs in shady places. There is a table and chairs for poolside dining. The garden offers a boules/petanque court for early evening entertainment.

Welcome pack provided on arrival. Swimming pool available from May to September English-speaking representative on hand to answer any questions. Minimum two week rental during high season months of July and August. Rental period commences on Saturdays. Pool/beach towels are not provided.

Sorry no pets allowed. Strictly no smoking. Refundable breakages deposit of £500 required at time of booking, to be refunded within three weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). 50% of rental fee payable to secure booking, balance due eight weeks before arrival date. Property not suitable for children under 5. Property not suitable for the elderly or infirm.
