Home description
Built only a few years ago, the villa is built around the large, private pool area and sits in a completely private and partly wooded plot of around 2/3 of an acre with electric gates. Almost pefectly designed as a holiday home, the kitchen, living area and two of the bedrooms all have large patio doors opening directly onto the pool area. The third bedroom is on the first floor and has stunning views towards the ancient village of Montauroux.
Designed and furnished to a high standard with complete ease of living in mind, the villa is fully equipped throughout and maintained in superb condition with a gardener, housekeeper, pool maintenance etc. Lying at the end of a long private drive, the villa is a three minute drive from excellent shops, restaurants etc. It is therefore perfectly situated for a holiday where you can lie and read for a week in peace or use it as a base for exploring the vast local area of medieval hill villages and, just a little further away, the glamour of St. Tropez and the coast.
Unusually, and because there is a marvellous open fire with a large supply of logs available, the villa is also a perfect retreat for Spring, Autumn and even Winter breaks.
Top quality bedding, linen and towels are provided. For more information on our property please visit our website via the link at the bottom of this page.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
Think of France and you think of fine wines, good living, style and good taste. Think of the South of France and you think of sunshine, fields of lavender, the glitzy Riviera, medieval villages and bustling markets. The Canton of Fayence lies between Draguignan and Grasse in the splendid Var region of Southern France, known for its perfume, provincial charm, ancient villages and unspoit countryside. Only 45 minutes from Nice airport, Villa Soleia is situated in a quiet residential enclave, 2 kms as the crow flies from the ancient village of Montauroux.
Fayence / Montauroux area
The medieval villages of Callian, Fayence and Seillans are only a short drive away from Villa Soleia. Also less than five minutes away is Lac St. Cassien - a sprawling freshwater lake which is popular with fishermen, sailors, windsurfers and bathers. There are restaurants nearby to suit all tastes and budgets - from the Michelin starred Castellaras restaurant in Fayence to family run bistros and pizzerias. Fayence is a world class centre for gliding and there are many golf courses nearby - most famously the Terre Blanche course which is also home to a world renowned Spa at the Four Seasons Hotel.
How to get there
The nearest airport is Nice, which is 50kms from the villa by car. Nice airport is serviced by British Airways from London Heathrow and London Gatwick (www.ba.com), Easyjet fly to Nice from Bristol, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Luton and Newcastle (www.easyjet.com), BMI Baby fly to Nice from Birmingham and East Midlands airports (www.bmibaby.com) and Flybe fly from Southampton to Nice (www.flybe.com) There are many car hire firms operating out of Nice airport including EasyJet, Avis, Europecar and Hertz - it is highly recommended that you have a car during your stay so that you can explore the many beautiful villages and towns, should you wish. There are also airports at Toulon and Marseilles but the drive to the villa is a good hour and a half. An alternative is to take the train. You can take Eurostar to Lille and then transfer onto a TGV train to St. Raphael. There is an Avis outlet at the train station in St. Raphael, which is only approx 30 kms from the villa in Montauroux. You will be given detailed directions of how to reach the villa when you confirm your booking
