About the home

A delightful villa set in a pretty garden just a short distance from the Provencal village of Bagnols en Foret. The villa, although semi detached is attached at the rear of the property and has a high degree of privacy. The pool area is walled and gated making it very safe for children. The villa is furnished in a cool and fresh style and provides comfortable and taste accommodation for family holidays. There is a pretty living room with French doors leading to the dining terrace. There is a comfortable double sofabed in the living room. A separate well equipped kitchen and utility room with freezer and washing machine. Double bedroom and twin bedroom and a bathroom with separate wc.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region

This area of France has a wealth of places to see and things to do. The coastline stretches from the Italian border and down to Marseilles and beyond and within that region and the hills and mountains behind you are spoilt for choice. Tiny villages perched on hilltops, breathtaking mountain scenery, lakes, gorges, rivers, sandy beaches - the choice has to be yours. Your villa will have a booklet of suggestions on where the best places are to visit but you may prefer to sit by the pool, enjoy the scenery and that chilled glass of Rosé !!

The Fayence / Bagnols en Foret area

The Canton of Fayence is situated on the edge of the Alpes Maritimes and forms part of the
Provence Cote d’Azur region of France. This is the area where most of our properties are
situated. Located inland midway from the coast of Cannes, west of Grasse and east of the
provincial town of Draguignan, the area nestles between the magnficient backdrop of the
mountains and villages of Alpes-de-Hautes Provence and the Massif de l’Esterel and down
to the coast of Frejus/St Raphael.



Within the Canton are the villages of Fayence, Tourrettes, Callian, Montauroux, Bagnols en
Foret, St Paul en Foret, Seillans and Mons. Each village has its own individual charm and
has retained many of its medieval origins. Taking time out to wander through the back
lanes and alleyways will give you glimpses of times gone by, open stone work, over
hanging balconies, small doorways - usually framed by bougainvillea or hanging geraniums
giving that beautiful splash of colour. All are well worth exploring.
Each village has a morning market with a good choice of fresh local produce and there is an
excellent choice of Supermarkets and local amenities such as banks, post offices and of
course the essential bread shop for those delicious warm croissants first thing in the
morning!!

By Road - A great many of our clients chose to drive down through France having crossed the Channel either by one of the ferry companies or by the Channel Tunnel. For some - it may be the first time travelling by this route and therefore our suggestions are largely directed at those who need that little bit of extra help. The Ferries take around 1hr 30 mins crossing time, Tunnel takes 35 minutes, actually crossing time. Please be aware that during busy periods that the queuing time could be a considerable wait before boarding - you should allow for this in your time planning.
