This is an ideal hideaway property, great for one or two families wanting a flavour of rural Provence at their own pace. Mature hedges & trees provide complete privacy. Fayence village life centres around its delightful village square with a local market three times a week all year round, an open air theatre and several charming restaurants & local shops.
The house is approx 45 minutes from Nice airport and 30 mins from Cannes, St Rafael, Frejus and other good beaches. Further inland from Fayence there are additional interesting villages (e.g. Mons, Seillans, Bargemon ++), and spectacular gorges (Verdun is a couple of hours by car, but a smaller one is within 20 minutes). Boating and bathing is possible within 10 minutes at Lac de St Cassien, and the entire area is a cyclists dream (offroad and roadbike).
There is a wide variety of sports and outdoor activities for all ages close at hand including rural walks, gliding (Fayence is a widely reknown centre for gliding), Golf (10 minutes to the exclusive Terre Blanche 36 hole golf complex, and a short drive from many others). Other sports include sailing, water skiing, windsurfing, tennis, horse riding, aqua park, trekking, and swimming.

There is a well equipped and good sized kitchen with new appliances and a kitchen island which serves nicely as a breakfast bar or work top etc.
The lounge/dining room is equipped with TV/DVD and HIFI system with radio/CD/and MP3 socket.
The master double bedroom has a spacious en-suite bathroom with double basins, shower, bath and WC.
The second double bedroom has a double bed which can be separated into two singles if required.
The third bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds. It has an en-suite bathroom with wash basin, showe and WC.

The kitchen and lounge/dining room each have large double french doors, both opening onto a covered terrace/patio running along the south facing façade. The terrace faces the large garden patio area which has a large recently added pergola providing shade for outdoor meals and then progresses to the pool area with a newly renovated10.5X5M pool featuring integrated steps at the shallow end.
There is plenty of space for parking cars without interfering with the main activity areas in the garden with ample space to play garden volleyball/badminton, kick a football etc without disturbing the sunworshippers by the pool.
The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region
The Var embodies all the aspects of Provence with stunning beaches along the coast, rolling countryside containing both small rural farms and majestic vinyards and their chateaux, and extensive easily accessible forests with numerous well marked hiking trails. The hills of the Var rise to become the foothills of the Alps with a number of ski resorts accessible with a couple of hours drive from Fayence. 2 hours drive to the North West is the magnificent Gorges du Verdun - often called Europes Grand Canyon. To the South the historic resort towns of St Tropez, Ste Maxime, St Raphael and Cannes/Mandelieu are strung from west to east along the magnificent coast - an absolute must is the drive from St Raphael to Cannes along the coast road.
Fayence and neighbouring villages of Seillans, Callian, Montauroux, each within 2-3 hours walk along marked trails, are perched in hilltops (400 m or 1300 ft above sea level) overlooking a delightful valley which contains the famous glider aerodrome just below Fayence and the exclusive Terre Blanche Golf resort. A short drive up into the mountain from Fayence will bring you to Mons, an old fortified village with its own French/Italian dialect. Aside from the active market place there are always a whole range of activities which are all covered by the local tourist information office which has the schedule of events and activities for Fayence & the surrounding area.
