About the home

Les Oliviers is a charming villa near the ancient village of Montauroux. Very quiet and private but not isolated and within very easy reach of all major travel routes.
This four bedroomed villa is set in a large garden with many olive, mulberry and fig trees. The superb pool has plenty of space around it, both in full sunshine and other parts in shade. The summer house catches the first rays in the morning as the sun comes over the hills, perfect for that al fresco coffee.
Inside there is a very large open plan living area, with kitchen, dining area and cosy lounge with log fire and English and French television. Two bedrooms are downstairs and two more upstairs, including the master bedroom with its own balcony, giving lovely views over the surrounding hills.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region

The Var region ranges from the sandy beaches of St. Tropez to rugged hills and mountains with many picturesque villages to explore. Cannes and the whole of the French Riviera is easily accessible. There is plenty to do and lots to see, with an abundance of historical sites, beautiful gardens and of course those lovely sandy beaches.
The glitzy attractions of Monte Carlo and Cannes are within easy drive as is the wealth and charm of Antibes and the cosmopolitan charms of Nice with its warren of streets in the old town, great views from the old chateau and bustle of the port. Stroll along the Promenade Des Anglais and people watch.

The Fayence / Montauroux area

Montauroux is a mediaeval perched village with a wide range of amenities and spectacular views from the pretty village square.
Being near to Lac de St Cassien this property has the added bonus for more gentle water pursuits such as fishing, canoeing, or pedaloes, with rowing for experienced scullers, and many lovely walks and nature trails.

By Road - A great many of our clients chose to drive down through France having crossed the Channel either by one of the ferry companies or by the Channel Tunnel. For some - it may be the first time travelling by this route and therefore our suggestions are largely directed at those who need that little bit of extra help.

The Ferries take around 1hr 30 mins crossing time, Tunnel takes 35 minutes, actually crossing time. Please be aware that during busy periods that the queuing time could be a considerable wait before boarding - you should allow for this in your time planning.
