If you are looking for a holiday destination at the fringe of the French Riviera coast, but also a location with genuine Provencal nature and ambience then our holiday villa is ideal for you. Situated just below the beautiful village of Callian in the Canton de Fayence, this stunning old Provencal house, which has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, nestles on a south east facing slope, and is set at the centre of an olive grove.

The villa benefits from magnificent panoramic views towards the villages of Callian and Montauroux and down to the valley.

It is set in one hectare of terraced land with 100 old olive trees. From the property it is about a 20 minute walk to the village of Callian, with its shops and restaurants.

There is a large parking area for several cars, and the property is completely secured by fencing and an automatic gate.

Outside there is an infinity pool, surrounded by decking, and there are plenty of places to sit and relax and enjoy the magnificent surroundings.

The house is approximately 200m2, and has 4 bedrooms (all en-suite).

Nearby is the Lac de St Cassien for boating and relaxing, and of course there is Cannes and the coast a short distance away and St Tropez only about 45 minutes drive.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region

The Var Department is in the heart of the Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region close to the well known towns of Nice, Cannes, and the principality of Monaco. It has easy access to all the well known coastal resorts of the French Riviera - Cannes, St Raphael, St Tropez.

You will find lots to do for all ages and interests - with its multitude of historical sites, museums and galleries, those lovely sandy beaches, the captivating Mediterranean Sea, and of course not forgetting the gastronomic delights of the restaurants, markets and vineyards

There are facilities for all kinds of watersports around the area.

The property is situated only a few minutes drive from the Lac de St Cassien where you can undertake some gentler activites such as fishing, canoeing or pedaloes

Also within 1 hour drive is the magnificent Gorge du Verdon

In winter you can be in the ski resorts of the Alpes Maritime in no time at all - the nearest is Greolieres les Neiges a small resort only 45 minutes away, or a little further at about 1 hour is Isola 2000

For lovers of golf there are several excellent golf courses in and around the area


The village of Callian is one of the five perched villages making up the Canton de Fayence - the others being Montauroux, Tourettes, Fayence and Seillans. To the north there are the mountains which protect the area and to the south there is the Mediterranean sea. From all the villages there are some magnificent panoramic views out over the mountains, across the valley and down towards the sea.

The village of Callian itself is charming, and has a central square with the main village church, a fountain, several restaurants, local shops and the Tourist Office. Throughout the year the village hosts various festivals, exhibitions and cultural events to which all are warmly welcomed.

Whilst the village has everything for your day to day shopping requirements, there are several supermarkets and all other conveniences only 5 minutes drive away

The villa is situated about 15 minutes from the autoroute exit, and has easy access to all tourist attractions in the region.

In the immediate area you will find lots to do and see - fishing on the Lac de St Cassien. Golf at the Terre Blanche Course - only 5 minutes from the villa.
