Views from the balcony at the front of the house look over the Esterel mountains and main 'Boule area' of the village. Enjoy the activities of the village yet escape to the garden with panoramic views from the pool of the village of Seillans with the Esterel mountains in the background. All facilities are within walking distance of the house. Capacity for 8 . having 4 bedrooms (3 doubles plus 1 twin ), 3 bathrooms. TV, Video,DVD Player. Parking ajacent to house on private road. Covered patio with dining area at the rear of the house in the garden. Alternative dining on balcony.

Children's books, toys and videos available. Twin bedded room, children will love this bedroom with views over the boule area and valley beyond. The dining room has an antique dining table with an old Irish Dresser with Royal Doulton china. A good place to dine in adverse weather. The balcony at the front of house provides an alternative dining area with the interesting activity of the village below. The Kitchen is equipped with a Borsch Dishwasher - Washing Machine - Large Fridge - Gas/Electric Hob/Oven. The house is prepared for guests arrival together with one bath and hand towel per person. Beach towels not provided.
Each bathroom has a toilet and wash hand basin. Pretty Portugese tiles and Edwardian style bath in guest bathroom.
The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
Restaurants and the coast: There are several good restaurants all within a few minutes walking distance of the house. Sit by the village fountains and soak up the atmosphere of this medieval village. The nearest beaches are at Frejus or Mandelieu - Cannes. It takes about 45 minutes. Seillans is well known for its Festivals which take place largely in the village square opposite the house. Enjoy a cocktail on the balcony as you watch the activity and atmosphere.
Supermarkets: There is a local supermarket with a larger one 10 minutes away by the roundabout of Fayence, 10 minutes by car. The bread shop is literally around the corner from the house next door to the fountain. There is a good butcher in the main street and a news agent and post office, grocer and chemist . Children may like to practise their French and shop for the daily croissants.
Local attractions: Lac deSt Cassien is 15-20mins drive for fun on the lake. There are also water sports, paragliding and a nearby Aerodrome at Fayence for gliding, which has a restaurant. Fayence (4 kilometres) is renowned for Gliding and is one of the most popular in europe. Terre Blanche Golf and Country Club is 15mins drive with 2 x 18 hole magnificent courses along with a health spa and hotel run by the Four Seasons Group.
Golf: Apart from the charming nearby local villages, there is the Lac de St Cassien just 15 minutes away with rowing , wind surfing, paddle boats and restaurants. Golf is all over the Cote d'Azur, with the nearest ones at Mandelieu, Frejus, La motte or Grasse.
The Fayence / Seillans area

St Roc is a gem of a house, staying there you get the best of both worlds. You can watch the hubbub of village life - the markets, the fetes, the boules players from the balcony at the front to the house, yet walk through to the back and you are in the beautiful tranquil garden.
The swimming pool has the best location I have ever had in a holiday home!
We were a group of adults, there are a lot of stairs so the property would not be suitable for anyone with tiny children or those unsteady on their feet.
It is a village house so it can be noisy at times, particularly on a Saturday night, however if you want to join in the fun, it's right on your doorstep!

This is without a doubt one of the most memorable holidays we have ever had - from the moment we walked into the property it felt simply ideal. Would love to be able to visit again soon. Travelled with my husband and son. Enjoyed everything that the area and village offered. The property was not like the boring traditional holiday homes......it was like walking into someone elses loved home. It was a joy!

Please note the rental rates quoted exclude (are net of)any foreign exchange and/or banking costs incurred as a direct result of guests method of transfer. Any such costs incurred will be added to the total rental fee at cost.
Arrivals on, or after, 16.00 on Saturday. Departures on Saturday morning at, or before 10.00.
A 30% non refundable deposit will be required to confirm a booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before commencement of the booking period. A fully refundable deposit of £200 against the telephone usage and any damage.
Linen is an extra £15 per week.per person
