Emerald is a new, purpose built 3 bedroom cottage that sleeps up to 6.

There is a Brasserie within a 15 minute walk of the property. In Fauquembergues, a 5 minute drive away, there are two supermarkets, pharmacy, bakers etc and various bars and restaurants, a children's park and tennis courts. This area is also ideal for cycling, walking, fishing and horse riding.
Just 45 minutes from Calais and 20 minutes south of St. Omer, at Thiembronne you can relax and enjoy the countryside and take the odd excursion. For example you might visit the museum at the historical site of Agincourt (or as it is called in France; Azincourt) or visit the underground city in Arras that could accommodate about 3,000 people. For golfers there is the St. Omer golf course within 15 minutes drive and a further two golf courses within 40 minutes drive. For those wishing to spend the day at the seaside there are fine sandy beaches within 40 minutes drive from the cottage.

Set away from the farmhouse overlooking the countryside, this luxury cottage sleeps 6 in great comfort with 3 double bedrooms (Two doubles and one twin). Downstairs there is a kitchen and lounge/diner. Two double bedrooms, bathroom and separate WC. Upstairs there is one double bedroom with twin beds. The cottage is very well equipped to a very high standard.
Further details outdoors:
The cottage overlooks the countryside (cows are often grazing in the nearby field). Step outside of the cottage onto your own private patio with its table for eating 'al fresco' and sun loungers for those days you wish to relax with a good book. In the evening start up the BBQ and enjoy an evening as the sun sets over the fields. Visit the neighbouring farm for fresh milk.

Conditions
A. Deposit is 25% of the total.
b. Balance (75%) of the total is due 60 days before arrival plus a separate cheque of £100 for security deposit.
c. Payment is to be made by bank transfer or cheque (euro or sterling).
d. Sterling Cheques should be made payable to Irene Entwistle and sent to the Forever France address.
e. Bookings made within 60 days of arrival are to be paid in full at the time of booking.
f. The Damage or Loss Deposit of £100 will be returned, less any deductions, within 10 working days of departure.
The Northern France / Nord-Pas-de-Calais region


Many who enter this area of France often drive through but rarely explore. Those of us who have spent a little time here have discovered a much slower pace of life, excellent restaurants and many places of interest to visit. Find out what it is like to drive in 50’s Britain. The roads here are rarely busy and you can find yourself wondering, “Where’s all the traffic gone?”
The area is ideal for cycling, walking, fishing, golfing and photographic holidays; or if you prefer just chilling out with the occasional excursion.

The Fauquembergues / Thiembronne area
Thiembronne - There is a Brasserie in the village within a 15 minute walk.
Fauquembergues - 5 minute drive away with 2 supermarkets, pharmacy, 2 boulangeries and various other shops. It also has several bars and restaurants. There is also a children's park and tennis courts.
The lovely opal coast with its white sandy beaches is only a 45 minute drive.
