To keep you gathered over movies, music and sitcoms, the living room has TV, cable TV and VCR. Wireless Internet access is also available to catch up with emails, keep tabs on office, work or surf the web. A lovely, luxury Villa!

I booked this villa for 5 days in July, the first week of the school holidays. I wanted somewhere close to the airport, close to the beach, with a private pool and large enough for the four of us not to get under each other's feet. This wonderful villa ticked all the boxes and exceeded our expectations! It had 4 double bedrooms, 2 with air conditioning, 2 bathrooms and a lovely big pool with a small green garden area. Everything you could want was supplied - plenty of kitchen equipment, lovely bedding and towels and 6 sun loungers. The location was fine - nothing much in the village but ideally situated for the airport and only 30 minutes from the beaches near Faro. I thought this villa was superb in every way and very good value for money. Thankyou for a great stay and we will be back soon!! Jules and family.

We recently stayed in this apartment (April 2010) and I cannot find fault with anything. We had 3 children under 6 and it was more than suitable for us all. It was very clean and fully equipped with everything you could need to self cater. We were one of the unfortunate people who got stranded abroad by the volcano and Maryanne couldnt do enough to help allowing us to stay extra nights if required. I would recommend this apartment to all combinations of parties and would definitely look to return in the future. I would recommend that a car is needed though especially if you have young children as I wouldnt advise walking along the pavement less roads into town and there isnt very much for children to do in the town, you need to explore further for that.

7 of us age ranging from early 30s to early 80s have just spent a fabulous week in this very roomy villa. Extremely well equipped, very comfortable and clean. Great pool which is kept very clean.

We didn't have or need a car. The walk into Estoi takes 5 - 10 minutes and we were able to buy everything we needed in the village. Estoi is a delightful sleepy village with plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops and the only slight downside was that Estoi is quite hilly and not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.

We used taxis to and from the airport and also a couple of times to and from Faro. For seven of us it was just as cheap as using buses (all journeys between 15 and 20 Euros) and gave door to door service. We left a mobile number in the Villa for the company we used.

The owners, Maryanne and her husband, were on hand if we needed any help but not at all intrusive. The whole booking service was very easy and Maryanne replied instantly to all of our emails.

All in all we would definitely recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday.

We were 2 families in the mid 30's with 1 baby each who spent a wonderful week at this villa.

If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet place to stay - or simply a good place to live while exploring Algarve - this place comes highly recommended.

Cleanliness: Spotless - everything was clean (including the pool). There were also open spaces which made it easier for our little children to play without us having to worry too much about them all the time.

Owner: Very helpful - gave advice on places to shop and generally was very friendly. She even had installed babybeds by the time we arrived - very nice feature indeed.

Internet worked without problems which was nice -

Staying at this property without a car is however not recommended - it's close to Estoi but for major shopping and restaurants you need to go to Faro which is about 12-13 km away. And as we found out - Algarve in mid-june was very hot. So generally the house is perfect for peace and relaxation - if you want a bit more action you should aim at Albufeira or something like that.

There were also air-conditions in the 2 major bedrooms now so that was not a problem as stated in the review from last year.

We had a great time - and I recommend the place!
