Home description
The villa is situated in a quiet location with only one other house nearby. It is a 5 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk to Estoi a typical Algarvian peaceful country town tha has several restaurants, bars and supermarkets and small daily market.
The best beaches are at Praja de Ancao Fraro Island and Fuzeta all under half an hour away and the beaches at Quinta do Lago and Vale de Lobo also easily accessible. The Ria National Park offers excellent walks extensive beaches and bird watching.The motorway is 5 minutes away though hidden by the hills, which means many golf courses are within 40 mins drive, with Seville 90 mins, Lisbon 2.5 hours and the Spanish border under an hour.

The Algarve region
The Algarve is the southern most tip of Portugal and well known for its glorious year round sunshine . It is steeped in history ,well known for its Pottery , wonderful beaches ,restaurants and a golfers paradise. Sand spars, lagoons, islands and a multitude of wildlife characterize the coastal strip running from Olhao to Tavira.
The villa is 30minutes from the nearest beach and some 20 golf courses are within a 40 minute drive. Tennis courts are nearby .Being up in the hills there are many well priced restaurants nearby.
Faro / Estoi area
Estoi which is a 10 minute walk across the fields, is a picturesque Algarvian town with a small daily fish and vegetable market and large market every 2nd sunday in the month.There are many bars, restaurants and supermarkets.
The Roman Ruins of Milrue at Estoi are well worth a visit. and the historic Palace should re open in the Autumn after extensive re-building.
For the large supermarket shop, it is 20 minutes to Jumbo in Faro and 15 mins from Mondelo in Olhao where there is aslo a fantastic daily fish, meat and vegatable market.

Large living room with fireplace . Together with the kitchen both living and dining room have direct access to partly covered terrace. Generally there is a feeling of space in the villa. The pool and lower patio area are approached by steps from upper terrace and are totally fenced in for the safety of children. The entire property is fenced and has security lights and electric gate .The garden is full of shrubs flowers and trees and there is a large parking area.

Payment should be made in euros and a 20% deposit is required on booking with the balance due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. In accordance with article 1095 No 3 of the Portuguese Civil Code this property is let solely as self catering accommodation. It does not offer tourist lodging as described in Decree Law No 167/97 republished in Decree Law 55/2202 of 11/03
