Guestbook for The Den
Our stay at Carol and Peters 2 Bed house at Dragon Lodge was great. Beautiful clean house.Easy one hour journey to London City. Facilities in house were excellent; Plenty of clean towels, beautiful rooms and spotless clean new bedding. Lovely breakfast pack waiting for us on our arrival. Very friendly couple but didnt intrude on our privacy. Farnham is a lovely town with lovely restaurants. I couldnt recommend enough and would go back there. One of the nicest and cleanest houses we have stayed in.If you are visiting with children of mixed age group like us you will find lots of things to do within less than an hour E;g Chessington Theme Park. There was plenty of room in the house for five people 2 Double rooms 2 Bathrooms and a pull out sofa bed. The area of Farnham is beautiful and quiet but yet less than an hour will get you to London City Centre. Once in centre of London there are lots of things to do for all family members a visit to Madam Tuseauds, The London Eye, A Tour of Buckingham Palace The Natural History Museum and lots more. Then back to Dragon Lodge where there are cooking facilities if you fancy staying in where you can enjoy the complimentary bottle of wine left by Carol and Peter and watch one of the three televisions in the house or watch a D.V.D from the selection supplied by Carol and Peter or if its a nice evening sit on the beautiful decking surrounding the house and enjoy their lovely garden. Thanks Carol and Peter

"The very first thing which impressed us was the WARM HOSPITALITY AND WELCOME we received from Peter and Carol It was a very pleasant experience to stay at Dragon Lodge. Their garden is colourful and well kept. Each unit has deck chairs and table and gas barbecue. It is situated in the beautiful Frensham area, with nearby forests with walk trails, Big Pond, garden centre and other places of interest to visit. Special mention must be made of the "breakfast pack" made available in the refrigerator: it far exceeded my expectation! It was ample and sumptuous including also a bottle of wine They have stocked each unit with ample tourist information and leaflets. Telephone and internet is available for use by guests. Special mention must also be made of the cleanliness of the units." S.S - South Africa
Excellent - we will return because of the responsiveness and flexibillity to requests and customer care demonstrated by Carol and Peter Wood" Lady B - Singapore
"We have stayed twice in the Dragon Lodge; the first time in The Orangery (2 adults, one child), the second time in The Den (3 adults & 2 children). Carol and Peter Woods are very friendly and very uncomplicated. The second time we visited Dragon Lodge we really felt like coming home. You can park your car nearly in front of the apartments which is very comfortable when you have to unload your suitcases. The garden is wonderful and it is nice to sit in the sun in front of your apartment. DVDs, CDs and games are provided. There is free Wireless Lan available. A lot of information about local pubs and interesting things to see is also provided"

"Carol and Peter themselves are very welcoming and were always available when or if we needed them. There was a decking area outside the property with garden furniture provided and this looked on to a beautiful garden. We were also invited to use the gazebo in the garden. We have self-catered for over 30 years and this is one of, if not the best we have ever been in. Carol had sent us a lot of literature when we first booked the property"

"Very friendly owners and a welcoming bottle of wine. Comfortable bed, good heating, nice outside terrace for al fresco meals" J.S. Phuket
"Good base for our visit to watch the Womens British Golf tournament at Sunningdale Golf Club"
