The Central Southern England region
Well located and within easy reach of the historic city of Portsmouth with its numerous maritime museums and historic dockyard, shopping, cinemas and restaurants at Gun Wharf Quays with its iconic Spinnaker Tower and it's breathtaking views over the harbour. Southampton is also nearby and ferries to Isle of Wight can be taken from Portsmouth or Southampton.
The New Forest is under an hours drive offering a wide variety of activities and country parks. Other attractions of similar distance include Marwell Zoo, Paultons Park, City of Winchester, Salisbury and Chichester. 70 miles from London an hour and half drive or similar by train.
A great location for sea lovers young and old, the beach is just a minutes stroll with panoramic views across the solent. Lovely walks in both directions, to picnic and play areas for the children, and the nearby Titchfield Nature Reserve and fishing for enthusiasts on the front. A delightful area for windsurfing, canoeing and sailing. The nearby Osborne View pub offers great views over to the Isle of Wight, always something to see even on a windy, rainy day when you can sit, relax and watch the wind-surfers.
Stubbington village is less than 2 miles away where you will find plenty of amenities, banks, post office, chemists, supermarket and take-aways, coffee house and Chinese restaurant.

"Fantastic place to stay. Ideal for young family."
Brilliant bungalow. Stayed here during the Easter holidays to celebrate two family members birthdays. Really good for young children, ours were 4 years and 13 months. The fact that the bungalow was so… More

"Great bungalow in a fantastic location"
Finding the right place for a young family to escape for a break is very difficult, but in this bungalow and location it is absolutely ideal.
The owners are a delight to deal with and are very helpful and accommodating.
The bungalow is fully equipped with everything that you need for a home away from home. Even down to the detail of having childrens toys and books (including a marble run which my son loved!). Very spacious rooms with plenty of room for the boys to run around. The underfloor heating was godsend in the cold weather, it was cosy all the time.
The location is within a short walk of the beach and even in december it was beautiful to walk along with the waves crashing against the shore.
You could come here and not use your car because there is all you need within walking distance or for those who wish to shop there is west quay in southampton or gun wharf quays in portsmouth. There are plenty of museums around and lots to do.
I would recommend this to anyone as its in a perfect location. We would definately come back!

"A delightful relaxing stay"
The weather was reasonable for the time of year but the stay was made even better by the accomodation which was a modern purpose built two bedroom bungalow with large rooms yet had a warm and cosy feel. It was clean, fully equipped, well maintained, and Tracey, the owner, called with a warm welcome and ensured all was well. The bungalow is situated first in a side road off the main sea road and the view across the Solent to Osborne House on the Isle of Wight is simply stunning. The property has a large secure garden which was ideal for our dog to enjoy herself too! Local amenities and leisure facilities included a good pub with good food, all water sports and sea fishing aswell as a nature reserve. There were plenty of places to visit within a reasonable distance, including Southampton, Fareham Shopping Centre, Gosport market, and historic Portsmouth for Gunwharf Quays or even a daytrip to the Isle of Wight. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone, not just friends and family. Put it this way we will certainly be re-booking for next year!

Lovely house that was perfect for us - close to the Navy Base and lovely walks into Lee on solent.
Pub across the road is lovely and has lovely views out towards the Isle of Wight.
Small shops available locally but a 10mins drive and you are in either Gosport or Fareham with bigger supermarkets
House had everything you could possibly need for adults and kids - we stayed with 2 adults and 3 kids (9-15 years old) and all were happy!
Owners a pleasure to deal with.
Lovely and comfortable and we will be staying again!

"Lovely, Quiet and Convenient"
This was a fabulous location for us, close to everything we needed and great to have the bus on your doorstep.
Local pub and cafe were great to wander over too.
Despite proximity to road and pub noise was not an issue at all.
There was plenty of space inside and out for the kids to play and the rooms were spacious and well set up for our boys.
Would recommend for any small family.
