Recently refurbished ​Le Cretet 2 Apartment is a modern 37 sqm, one bedroom, ground floor apartment in Chamonix which sleeps up to 4 people in a beautifully quiet and sought after part of the town. The apartment is located on the hill overlooking Chamonix, just 7 minutes walk from Brevent / Planpraz ski lift and within walking distance to Chamonix centre. The elevated position also means that it benefits from totally stunning views of Mont Blanc and the Bossons glacier. There is one double bed in the bedroom, as well as a double sofa bed in the lounge. Le Cretet 2 apartment also has free wifi internet access, TV (with UK & French TV channels), Blueray DVD player (with DVDs & Netflix) and a dining table (4 chairs). The bathroom includes full sized bath with shower and there is a separate WC. There is a well-equipped modern kitchen which includes microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer, and you also have access to the residence parking lot (not allocated).

Bookings are usually Saturday to Saturday, but we are flexible on your dates and also offer season letting. Just let us know your requirements and we will work out a price for you.

We are also happy to offer discounts on bookings of more than week.

As a security against damages Chamonix All Year, who manage the apartment, will also pre-authorise a damage deposit of £400.00 on your bank card. They will contact you to request these bank card details once your booking is confirmed by Holiday Lettings and the damage deposit will be pre-authorised approx. 7-10 days before your arrival in Chamonix. This will be automatically released 28 days after the date it is authorised and only once the accommodation has been checked after your departure. If you would like the authorisation cancelled sooner than this automatic release then please contact us after your departure.

We have taken your feedback on board, specifically regarding: the bed - we have suggested to the owner to replace it with a newer, more comfortable one; the fireplace - we are currently re-vamping our website and this information will be more clearly explained on there; the hill - again this will be highlighted more clearly on the new website. Apologies for the mix-up with the transfer too, we think this may be because you stayed at the start of the winter season when the drivers were still new but we will speak to our transport team to ensure that this is included in training so that it doesn't happen for future guests. Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
