From the owner

Vila Margarida is a real taste of luxury. Not only does it have its own private heated pool and hard surface tennis court it has wonderful gardens and lovely airy spacious accommodation. The villa has 5 bedrooms, 2 double, both with en-suite and three twin, all but one twin are on the ground floor. The 3rd twin is on the first floor. 3 of the rooms have French doors opening onto the pool terrace (one double and two twins).

The gardens are large and mature giving a very tranquil and peaceful feel to a visit to Vila Margarida and affording a high level of privacy to guests staying there.The pool area is sunny and very private and has a wonderful poolside cabana for shade and cool on even the hottest days.

Upstairs there is a large lounge and separate dining room both opening onto a huge sea-facing terrace with a large dining table. This area is open to the sun but has an awning that can be used if shade is required.

The whole terrace and the living rooms behind have spectacular views of the sea and cliffs overlooking Luz Bay.The lounge also has TV with internet system free to air UK TV channels plus DVD player.

There is also a large kitchen with dishwasher and an upstairs cloakroom/shower room.

Outside next to the pool is a splendid bar/BBQ/outdoor kitchen with sink with hot and cold water, fridge with small freezer, BBQ and 2 ring gas hob. Ideal for outdoor living and dining.

There is also a poolside large shower cubicle, enclosed on 3 sides, great for all guests.

The pool is approx 8x5m with steps in at a Roman end. The pool heating is optional and available at an additional cost. The cost of pool heating depends on the time of year so please ask for a quote.

The tennis court is a hard surface court, fully fenced and faces North South to avoid the glare of the early morning or evening sun. It is in reasonable condition for fun/recreational play but is not at a club/competitive standard.

A car is not necessary as the beach, bars, restaurants and shops are all within easy walking distance (8 minutes)

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Fiona (the owner) a message.

If Fiona (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
