You will be staying in one of the most attractive & spacious original holiday villas in Kalkan, set within a beautiful & secluded tranquil area right on the very edge of town. Originally this was meant to be two houses but was made into one so is one of the most spacious villas available. It has all the superb Turkish original furnishings and carpets with a modern twist. It has several great outdoor seating arrangements with dining facilities, a lovely well maintained garden, balconies off each bedroom, and 3 bathrooms including one luxury en-suite within the master bedroom. The house is a few yards (67 steps) from a fabulous shared 20 metre pool overlooking the sea set in charming gardens. There is a large well appointed Italian kitchen with everything you could need for cooking and entertaining. There are four sets of French doors opening onto the garden with back and front terraces, covered in purple bougainvillaea. It has air-conditioning in the 4 upstairs bedrooms and free Internet Access included both in the villa and at the pool side. With a 5 minute walk you can be in the town centre which has beautiful restaurants, cafes, shops and the marina.We have parking should you wish to hire a car to explore the local area with award-winning beaches and ancient ruins from the civilisations that have inhabited the region.

For children the villa is ideal.. In the old olive tree is a lovely children's tree house which is very popular for both small children and older ones .The villa is deliberately very safe ( with no pool in the garden as we have

8 little ones in the family) but the communal pool is very accessible a few meters from the house.

There is a very large outdoor area for dining under the pergola where grapes grow (and are ripe in August )and this is lit with old Turkish lanterns to give a great atmosphere..other wise you can bbq at the other end of the terrace or relax out the back the kitchen under another pergola covered in bougainvillea, which is shady in the afternoons

The villa is for rent for one to two weeks at a time, or longer if desired. A deposit is required to book, (half the rent for the period selected) to secure the villa.The owners are a New Zealand family who use it twice a year. It is fully equipped with everything you need for a fabulous holiday.

The villa is decorated in a tasteful style with high quality rugs and antique fabrics and artifacts, along with modern fittings in the kitchen and dining room. Each bedroom has a comfortable queen or king-size bed, remote-control air conditioning, and its own balcony. It is spacious and is airy with ceiling fans on the ground floor.

High quality bedlinen and towels are provided.. If you need daily cleaning or housekeeping this can be arranged , but will incur an extra charge...

There is a small fee applicable daily for the use of the communal pool area & facilities if you use it.This helps to pay for the pool attendants , the upkeep of the large pool and the facilities . This payment is separate from the villa fees, and paid on entry to the pool area by each person using it.

Please do ask about any recommendations in Kalkan e g restaurants trips, swimming places, car hire, shopping etc... We have been holidaying in Kalkan for 17 years now and have good ideas of local places and services. You will be met on arrival and given the keys to the villa and there will be in the kitchen a bottle of wine , some fruit, bread,milk,and there will be tea and coffee available.We leave some items in the freezer and cupboards for emergency use and ask that you replace anything that you use , e.g. there will be pasta rice, and normal things like washing powders, in the laundry for your convenience. As this is our family home in Turkey you will find it very well equipped and the kitchen has everything you need.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
