Dawn Chorus Holidays offer two spacious safari-style canvas lodges and three shepherd huts, set on a working farm near the beautiful market town of Beccles. Children will delight in the space, fresh air and seeing how a working farm works and parents will love to be able to switch off and have a deserved break from hectic lifestyles. This is a time to get away from all things modern and resort back to nature.Luxury camping or glamping attracts families who want to experience the best bits of camping without the hassle of having to bring your own tent or put it up. It allows you more leisure time to enjoy your holiday, unwind and get close to nature without compromising on style or comfort. These luxury tents offer a chic alternative to traditional camping with plenty of living space. This is camping that parents will enjoy just as much as the children!The Safari LodgesThere are two safari lodges (Chaffinch & Goldfinch) each sleeping up to 8 people. Each comfy lodge has a double bed in the master room, a twin room and a custom made 'cabin' double bed, which has doors opening into the living room and the bunkroom. There is also a double sofa bed in the living area. A cot bed is available on request for younger children. Each lodge has its own flush away toilet and shower located towards the rear of the tent. Each lodge is also fully equipped with all bed linen and towels, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and wood burning stove. A selection of family board games are to be found in each tent, which provide great evening entertainment.The FarmThe Pines is a small working farm run by the Bradshaw family with chickens producing free range eggs, sheep and a few cattle. The Pines has a small farm shop where you can buy homegrown meat, plus eggs, preserves and other items.Location and things to do in Suffolk/ NorfolkDawn Chorus Holidays are located in the small village of Barsham, just 2 miles west from the beautiful market town of Beccles on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. The farm is within walking distance to the river Waveney, the Locks Pub and the Wherry. In nearby Beccles you will find the outdoor heated swimming pool (the Lido) and a superb selection of shops and banks. Boat and canoe hire are also available in Beccles.In the nearby market town of Bungay (7 miles) you could visit the Flixton Air Museum, the castle, or the indoor pool. We are just 35 minutes from the popular seaside resorts of Southwold and Great Yarmouth and just 40 minutes from the delightful historic city of Norwich. Well worth a day trip out is BeWILDerwood - a huge award winning forest of family fun and outdoor adventure.

Bob and Helen will do their up most to greet you with a warm welocme on arrival and will always try to be on hand to give advice. When you arrive you will find tea, coffee, milk eggs and home made cakes in you accomodation.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
