From the owner

The smallholding of some 21 acres is located in the Brendon hills, four miles north of Wiveliscombe, on the South East corner of Exmoor. The lodge is situated on a hill in a very quiet location with good views to the south over farm land.

The lodge has two double or twin bedded rooms with en-suite bathrooms with a spacious kitchen/lounge diner located in between. It has a high quality internal specification with an air source heat pump and underfloor heating providing the heating. The farm has a bridleway passing through its fields linking it to the footpaths and bridleways across the Brendon hills and Exmoor.

The farm is located close to the main east - west road across the moor, making it very easy to visit all the attractions on Exmoor and the coast without having to spend much time on the congested coastal road.It is also an ideal location to tour the Somerset coast and the Quantock Hills.

Dogs are welcome. There is no additional charge for up to two well behaved dogs.

Warm welcoming and peaceful

The location is very peaceful and in a spectacular position high in Exmoor with good walking straight from the door. Warm cottage and warm welcome. Very well equipped cottage with lots of room.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Clive (the owner) a message.

If Clive (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
