Stay in our beautiful detached two bedroomed lodges with sunny southfacing verandas offering spectacular views across valley or overlooking wildlife pond. Choose from scandinavian style meadowview or classic log cabin brookview lodge, both offering high quality accommodation. Meadowview lodge 3 comprises of:one double bedroom, second bedroom with bunk beds, quality shaker style kitchens with ceramic hobs bathroom with shower over bath. South facing veranda one small pet permitted in Meadowview lodges 3 & 4. At Ta Mill, we are offering the option to hire the site Hot Tub or Swim Spa for private sessions. The Vita Hot Tub is situated in a private setting, unusually surrounded by the original stone walling of the waterwheel pit. Climb down into the inviting Hot Tub which is sat on a steel grid above the fantastic vertical walls where a working waterwheel once belonged. Be amazed at the beautiful example of local craftmenship from ages past which is lit up below you or look above at the changing scenes as clouds drift by or marvel at the sky at night. The Swim Spa gives you the option to do some swimming against the never ending current or relax in the massage chairs.- see website for terms and conditions. (Sorry children under 12 years not admissible in hot tub but welcome to use Swim Spa with adult supervision) We are now an APPROVED WEDDING VENUE and you can hire the site exclusively if you have at least 30 friends and family who want 2 or 3 nights away- Please enquire about venue hire rates.

Everything you need for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings in North Cornwall. Each lodge offer two bedrooms - one double and the other bunk beds, with beds made up for your arrival. Meadowview lodges have triple aspect living rooms with wonderful views and fully fitted pine kitchens. Brookview lodges overlook the wildlife pond and you can watch mallard and moorhen or the myriad of other birds that regularly visit, including kingfishers, herons and swallows. Please see tamill website for more details. On site Laundry with washing machine, dryer and iron- not in lodges. Wi-Fi available in Brookview lodges, Meadowview lodges 1 and 2 and on site generally. You may not get Wi-Fi in the meadowview lodge 3 and 4 inside.

The Swim Spa has a never ending current which you can swim against and also massage chairs for relaxing- see website for terms and conditions (sorry, no children under 12 years of age in Spa facilities).Ta Mill accommodation is set in a peaceful hollow of 45 acres. A babbling brook meanders through the grounds, past the wildlife pond and continues along the picturesque nature trail, which is a DEFRA assigned access, recognised for its archaeological interest and unique setting. This nature trail leads you through a beautiful valley of dramatic stone outcrops and blossoming gorse. In the Spring, the bright yellow gorse and white blossom of the blackthorn contrast with the stunning grey slate rocks. Later in early Summer the hillside is adorned with purple foxgloves. Indulge your imagination as you absorb the natural beauty and unique tranquility whilst you wander along this unspoilt haven for nature where you can glimpse magnificent birds of prey, flocks of lapwing and much more. After nearly half a mile of wending stream you will be delighted at the discovery of another wildlife pond, playing host to a wealth of pondlife, including dragonflies, striking turquoise damselflies and swallows as they dip and dive across the shimmering water.Other facilities include a pitch 'n' putt course set in an acre of meadowland and games room with gym equipment.

    Thankyou for your review. The nature trail is a lovely way to end the day as you amble alongside the babbling brook. Wander a little further and you reach the unique setting of St Clether Holy Well which is a truly magical spot set in the hillside about a mile from Ta Mill. There are many local agricultural shows that go on in the summer months so you can mix sight-seeing with a day out admiring the show sheep or cattle. Alternatively just relax on your veranda or patio and watch Nature as it just carries on in front of you!

    Thankyou for your review. We aim to ensure our accommodation is as welcoming as possible. In addition to our weekly cleaning routine we regularly hire 'Mattress Medics' to help ensure clean, hygienic and allergen free mattresses. One spectacular event that must be witnessed when visiting Ta Mill this time of year is the 'starling roost' at Rough Tor. Visitors can watch the daily return of starlings at dusk to their nighttime resting spot only 4 miles from Ta Mill. A fantastic sight to behold.

    Glad that you enjoyed your stay. We try and ensure that all our accommodation is warm and inviting on arrival, whatever the weather. Winter is well upon us and guests can enjoy the changing scenery of the surrounding countryside. We are open all year and many of our cottages have 'roaring woodburners' to warm you up after a refreshing walk.
