From the owner

With the spring fast approaching here in the Lot & Garonne, now's the time to book your holiday here at Seguinet.

Set in the heart of the historic Aquitaine region of France, Manoir Seguinet is a beautiful 200 year old stone manor house, with all the grandeur the title suggests! It sits proudly as the centre piece of a private 18 acre estate. Even as you approach the house you will be struck by its beauty. It is perfectly located on the borders of the Lot, Garonne & Dordogne. In the heart of Bastide country – surrounded by some of the most beautiful villages in France, including Monflanquin, Monpazier, Belves & Issigeac.

The Manoir is at the heart of our private estate and is complimented by our two smaller holiday houses (for a really large party, why not book the whole estate!) Set in over 18 acres of beautiful parkland, which boasts its own fishing/boating lake, pond & mill race as well as the river Lemance bordering the property. A perfect location for a great active holiday or a week or two spent whiling the time away!

As you would expect of a Manor house – the Manoir enjoys the privacy of its own private 12 x 5 m heated pool, surrounded by terraces and beautiful landscaped gardens.

Fabulous exposed stone exterior compliments the classical symmetry of this very special holiday home.

The interior has been stylishly renovated to expose its fabulous stonework and has high ceilings, tall doors and windows and grand entrance hall.

With four comfortable reception rooms (three of which open out directly onto the pool terrace & shady dining area) this is a wonderful house for a number of families to share. The separate reception rooms mean that those wishing for a little quiet or perhaps a TV afternoon can all find their own space! There's Wifi throughout the whole property.

The dining room and kitchen are side by side, making dining together a breeze. The dining room has a fabulous monumental log burning stove – perfect for those chillier spring or autumn evenings.

Through to the classically 'French' kitchen, which is large with a central table for relaxed breakfasts, easy dining or just to take time to chat over a cup of great French coffee.

A magnificent wooden staircase leads to two wings of bedrooms (perfect for more than one family sharing). On ascending the staircase the left wing has three magnificent en-suite bedrooms – perfect for three couples. Two of the bedrooms in this wing have super king bed, double bed, the third twins.

To the right of the staircase is the second wing – here you will find three further stylish bedrooms. The bedrooms are set out as one twin, one king and one with a fabulous king size four poster bed – these pretty bedrooms share a large fitted shower room.

The bedrooms are all large & airy. The large windows create lovely bright rooms - enjoy relaxing in bed with the gentle breeze drifting in to gently wake you!

Outside you will find a table tennis table, badminton & swings for the children as well as a great rowing boat for the lake complete with buoyancy aids to keep you all safe. We have a games room with a pool table, darts, air hockey table and a multiple games table for children - perfect for keeping the adults and youngsters busy out of the sun!

We have six bikes ready for your use as well the opportunity to hire any number of bikes for the duration of your stay.
