Wesdale is perfect for couples, families and friends of up to 8 people. Pet friendly, our cottage is set in a large garden surrounded by fields and retains it traditional charms while being constantly upgraded over the years. It is comfortable and functional and very private being at the end of a small lane surrounded by greenery. Wake up to the sounds of birds, badgers and pheasants. Remember how holidays used to be – enjoyable, natural, refreshing and relaxed?

Easy walking distance to the beach, surf, shops and at least 3 pubs and bars.

Wesdale has been a holiday favourite for many years.

Wesdale sleeps up to 8 and parks up to 5 cars (one under cover).

Included in the rental is Hot Water, Central Heating and Broadband/Wifi and free evening telephone calls. Linen and towels are not included.

Garden - lots of room for playing games, barbeques, sunning or even camping. Completely enclosed for kids safety. Set next to a 4 acres private field.

Sitting Room – large comfortable room with log fire, plenty of comfortable chairs, sofa, Flat Screen TV/Dvd, Piano, fantastic views over the garden and fields St Minver, Bodmin Moors, Brea Hill, St. Enedoc Church, The Point Polzeath and Rock Golf Clubs, Padstow as well as to the Camel Hayle (Estuary). Lots of DVD's and a well-stocked games cupboard

Small Bedroom -The single bed has a fold out beneath it, wash basin and a fine collection of kid's books.

Master Bedroom – Queen Size Bed, wash basin, storage, dressing table and panoramic views

Double Bedroom – 2 Single beds which zip together to a Super King size, wash basin, storage, dressing table and a nice view

WC – Small. Private.

Garden Bedroom – 2 Single beds, wash basin, storage, dressing table and double doors leading to the garden.

The cottage will be all yours and we will give you a code for the keys. Our caretaker Dudley Lay lives locally and is the first point of contact for any queries. He is a builder by trade and very familiar with Wesdale and can call on his network of local tradespeople who can help if any issues should arise. Our website is a full of holiday information. I am available 24/7 on the phone and always love hearing from our guests.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Dawn (the owner) a message.

If Dawn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
