Unique, quiet family friendly holiday house above the clouds with spectacular panoramic views to the Karawanken, ideal for hiking and right next to the slopes!
4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, spacious living-dining area for 8 people.
The idyllic log cabin is constructed from whole tree trunks. That gives both exterior and interior a unique charm.
Equipment and furnishings are chosen deliberately modern and practical.
The location of the large, south-facing plot allows you a completely free 180 ° panoramic view over large distances to the Karavanken. The house is sunny, the terrace is open and invites for all day sitting and enjoying. The natural large garden with ancient trees is ideal for children to play. There is a swing and a "climbing tree skeleton and other wooden toys." A large covered double carport with 2 parking spaces and bicycle / tool shed is available.
The house is located at 1650 meters above sea level in the village Hochrindl, which is part of the ski and recreation area Hochrindl in the conservation and hiking area of the Carinthian Nock Mountains. It is very quiet at the end of a dead end street near the forest. A special attraction in winter is the direct access to the slopes that allows a departure from and back to the house on skis.
Hochrindl is a popular family ski resort with 8 lifts, many possible runs, cross-country skiing, snow hiking, toboggan runs and romantic horse-drawn carriage rides. Ski school, restaurants and a supermarket are within walking distance. The larger ski resorts of Bad Kleinkirchheim and Turracherhöhe are close in driving distance of 20 km each.
In the middle of the extending living, dining and kitchen area there is a typical austrian green tiled stove , which from the corridor is to be fitted with wood. It has an ultra-modern automatic control, using which the whole house can be optimally heated. The kitchen is modern with fridge, freezer, ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher. Heating: underfloor heating in other ways by the Grund-/Kachelofen.
