Sevenne is a beautifully restored stone farmhouse with adjoining cottages, located in the unspoiled Lot and Garonne and far from the madding crowd!

Drake Cottage/Gite SLEEPS 6 (4 adults and 2 children in bunk beds) and is completely self contained with it's own covered terrace, sun patio and use of the 12 x 6 m pool. The property is situated at the end of a private driveway with no immediate neighbours.

The property is nestled within 4 acres of garden with fruit trees, willows, lavender, wisteria, honeysuckle, jasmine and a picturesque duck pond. We are surrounded by fields of corn and sunflowers with views over rolling countryside with friut orchards, hazel nut and walnut trees. Our hens and ducks are free range and supply us and our guests with fresh eggs daily.

Sevenne is child frendly, ideal for families, couples and house hunters.

The accommodation:

On the ground floor;

A spacious open plan reception room with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge with comfortable furnishings.

There is a family bedroom which sleeps 4 (double bed and bunk beds), with a vanity unit and a seperate toilet and sink.

On the first floor:,

A twin bedded room which sleeps 2 and seperate family bathroom with walk in shower, bath, toilet and sink.

There is UK satellite TV and WiFi access if you need to keep in touch with the outside world!

Sevenne is our home and not just a business, it is very important to us that our guests enjoy their stay and make the most of their holiday. Although we are on hand we keep very much in the background but can be contacted if needed .

Drake Cottage is perfect for walkers, golfers, cyclists, bird watchers, artists........ or why not sit by the pond or under one of the many willow trees with a good book and a glass of local wine! Sevenne is a slice of paradise! Tranquil, peacful, relaxing yet only minuites from the busy Dordogne for the more active.

Why not learn a new skill, we hold weekly silk painting workshops for adults and children which are available exclusively for our guests. We also offer dinner on arrival/departure or during your stay.

Why can't I call Gill (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Gill (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
