In a tranquil setting amongst stunning mountans and forest Strathlachlan Lodge is a delightful luxury property of an excellent standard and quality with the original part of the building over 300 years old and sits in it's own grounds with large gardens and is detached and completely private.

The property has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard with high pressure showers ,underfloor heating and has wood paneling thoughout .and each room has been individually tastefully decorated to create a relaxing comforting atmosphere. There are 3 bedrooms ,2 bathrooms a very large lounge with log burner and large dining kitchen with professional range cooker and TV snug with all rooms having wonderful views out over open countryside.

For 2021 we have added at mini spa which has changing area a Finnish sauna ,relaxation room with loungers, indoor and outdoor showers and outdoor high spec (96jet) 6 pers hot tub all with views to nature perfect for relaxation .

There are many wonderfull walks directly from the lodge with an abundance of wildlife including deer,grouse, pheasants and even golden eagles to see and this part of Argyll has some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery.

The lodge is located in the hamlet of Strathlachlan on East Loch Fyne which is 8 cottages.with the actual lochside 1 mile alway and the local village of Strachur with shops hotel etc only a 5 min drive away and we also have a artisan restaurant just two miles away. For exploring the west coast the location is perfect and Glencoe and Oban are also both within easy reach.

We generally don’t interact with guests during your stay unless there is a practical problem which needs attention and the lodge is exclusively yours to enjoy in complete and undisturbed privacy .However we are always available to provide information and assist whenever possible should you desire/require . Access is by way of a key safe which removes the need and time stress of getting to a meet and greet is much more convenient for all and especially guests arriving late .

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mark (the owner) a message.

If Mark (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
