Newcroft is a beautiful 3 bedroom cottage with river views to the front and a pretty enclosed garden to the rear. It is right in the heart of Perthshire's picturesque village of Comrie and beautifully situated on the banks of the River Earn. It's the perfect bolt-hole to the Scottish countryside - whether you're looking for a relaxing break, an active escape, or a bit of both! Just a short stroll (very short - 2 minutes!) from Comrie's cafes, restaurants, deli, butcher, bakers, grocers all stocking delicious quality local produce. An ideal base if you are keen to hike, walk, cycle, mountain bike, fish, kayak, waterski or golf. It's golf galore in this part of the world. Comrie has it's own 9 hole course and world famous Gleneagles is just 30 minutes away.

Right in the heart of Scotland Comrie is perfect for touring Scotland's many hot spots like Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Loch Lomond and the beautiful Highlands to name but few. Unlimited WIFI means you can plan your day trips while you're there. Or just kick back, relax and listen to the sound of the river!

The cottage is tastefully decorated in neutral colours with homely touches. It has a fully equipped sociable dining kitchen, Sky TV, a spacious garage for the storage of bbq and fishing/cycling equipment, private parking for 2 cars and a pretty enclosed back garden with charming outside dinging space. Rooms are tranquil and bright with dual aspect windows. The downstairs family bathroom has a separate bath and shower and the master bedroom upstairs with king sized bed and views to the front and back has a handy ensuite loo. There is a twin bedroom with 2 single beds and views to the front and back plus a cosy single bedroom with bunkbeds - perfect for kids. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. There is also a skateboard, kids balance bike and various other bikes stored in the garage for your use.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Marianne (the owner) a message.

If Marianne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
