From the owner

Henley House is a large, four bedroomed detached property. It offers very comfortable accommodation for up to 8 people ideal for short breaks,1 or 2 week holidays and family occasions throughout the year. It is an ideal base for both a seaside holiday, access to the National Sailing Academy and exploring Dorset's many attractions. Bookings are taken for a minimum of 3 nights or a full week with flexible change-over days other than in peak summer holiday where we offer full weeks with a Saturday change-over. The property is particularly well positioned in a quiet cul-de-sac in the prestigious Bincleaves area near to Weymouth Old Harbour with a sunny, private garden, large patio area ideal for BBQs or sipping a cold drink and offering sea views of Weymouth Bay and Portland. If the weather is unfavourable the garage houses a table tennis table and darts board. There are two comfortable lounges and fully equipped large kitchen and dining area, all with TV. There is a high quality wifi system plus GoogleCast in the large lounge and a games system for children in the smaller lounge. There are two double bedrooms which both have en-suites. One bedroom has twin beds which can be pushed together to make a further double together with a single bedroom with a second integral 'truckle' bed. There are three bathrooms (two en-suite), family bathroom and downstairs cloakroom. There is parking for two cars on the drive plus access to 3 adjacent off road parking spaces. To the rear of the property is a cliff top green-space with access to the South West Coastal Path. A short walk provides access to historic Nothe Fort and Gardens. Guests can make use of crabbing nets to explore the rock pools at Newton's Cove adjacent to the Gardens. Hope Square, Brewers Quay and Weymouth's vibrant historical harbour are within a 10 minute walk offering a wide range of pubs, restaurants, bars, tea-rooms, craft shops and fishing trips. Weymouth's main shopping centre, Georgian sea-front and famous sandy, shallow beaches which are ideal for children are also within a short walking distance as is the quieter and less well known beach and ruined Tudor Castle at Sandsfoot. There is no need to use a car to access Weymouth's main attractions and amenities.

How do damage deposits work?

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Leigh (the owner) a message.

If Leigh (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
