Where Carisbrooke is situated you are in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, an ideal base for walking excursions along the glorious coast line. Alternatively at Axmouth Harbour you can relax with a snack and drink at the Chandlery whilst soaking up the views. You can arrange local chartering to go out bass fishing for the day.

Axmouth Golf Course is situated on top of the Haven cliff that you can see in the background of the harbour. A cliff top walk to Lyme Regis cuts across this golf course. The mud flats of the Axe river is a recognized haven for many breeds of birds and is on your doorstep (i.e. 400yds ).

You often see people along the side of the river with their binoculars trying to catch sight of a rare bird. For those not wishing to walk, go back in time and take a tram ride that runs along the side of the river.

A welcome pack is provided on arrival where you will be met by Allistair or Zoe (the owners) who live next door and they will be available to help in any way they can to ensure you enjoy your holiday.

The hall entrance has an oak flooring. The kitchen is well supplied with cupboards, cooking utensils, pans, a new Range cooker and the usual kitchen appliances. Opposite the kitchen is the lounge/diner.

Both bedrooms have double wardrobes, deep chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and electric power points. Extra blankets and a hair-dryer are supplied.

The bathroom has an electric shower, shaving point, storage cupboard, heated radiator, airing cupboard.

A car port provides sheltered off-road parking beside a small garden in front of the bay windows.

The rear of the property has a private courtyard with a garden shed holding garden furniture that can be used. There is also a collapsible rotating washing line.
