Yucca Park previously was a time share complex but now the apartments are privately owned. The focal point of Yucca Park are the lovely pools and sunbathing areas and the lovely pool bar which is currently been looked after by Colin.
The complex is well maintained and a friendly atmosphere which is great for relaxing.
The location of Yucca Park is hard to beat! The beaches of Fanabe and Torviscas are literally less than 5 minutes walk away and these probably are the safest beaches in Tenerife South for Children, we take our nieces and nephews here as the sea is usually great for kiddies. A lifeguard and flag system operate here. Also there are many restaurants and facilities for families along the promenade making it ideal. Sunloungers and parasols can be hired and jet skis and pedalos are available from these beaches.

The Tenerife region
Tenerife is still a lovely island to holiday on! Should you wish to venture from your accommodation then you will see what a variety of things to do and see the island has on offer.
Puerto de la Cruz is wonderful for a days trip, go to the old harbour and see the elderly locals debating the topics of the day and walk around the plaza which has a variety of restaurants and shops to tempt you.
Teide the highest mountain in Spain is worth a visit and if the weather is ok then you must go up the cable car!
Fanabe area
For those who do not know where Fanabe is then the following is a guide to the Southern Area. Imagine you are on a walk along the coast then the following areas link in with each other
Los Cristianos / Playa las Americas / San Eugenio / Puerto Colon / Torviscas / Fanabe / El Duque / La Caleta
The beaches of Torviscas and Fanabe run into each other and are great for families with children.
Restaurants. Lots and lots to choose from and a variety of cuisines!
El Duque Shopping Centre is a 10 minutes walk away and there are some lovely shops here along with great classy bars such as the Amber Lounge. El Faro is the other new hot place to go and we would reccommend sunsets along with cocktails here
The New SIAM PARK has now opened and this is worth a visit if you like water rides. Agualand is still a good family day out with the water rides and the dolphin shows. Jungle Park is a very different park with eagles, lions, monkeys, if you love animals then visit this park Loro Park in Puerto de la Cruz is large park and offers sea lions to whales so again if you love nature and conservation then do pay a visit. The owner or Loro Park is also the same owner of Siam Park!
