The West Country / Cornwall region

Or could it be the cliff-top theatre at Mynack, working harbours, the world famous Eden project or St Michaels Mount, cut off from the mainland by a causeway. Or even the endless activities on offer; the Camel Cycling and Walking Trail, stunning coastal paths or the National Surf Centre at Newquay’s Fistral beach. The Falmouth / Mabe area
Just four miles from the maritime town of Falmouth is the lovely hamlet of Mabe. With rolling fields, country lanes and bubbling creeks, this area is a beautiful place for a family holiday. With excellent countryside for walking, there are also great opportunities to enjoy boat trips and cycling tours. The natural harbour at Falmouth – the third largest in the world – is reached via the town's winding streets and with the added attraction of a glorious sandy beach, it's easy to spend a day in this lovely little settlement. The area is also home to excellent shopping, Pendennis Castle and the stunning new National Maritime Museum. Visitors can also enjoy trips to the nearby town of St Mawes which boasts rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green scenery.

The hospitality of our hosts was excellent and the little things like tea, coffee, milk and fruit were available on arrival. This was a lovely touch. The area was great and the cottage was in a great place and made everywhere easily accessible. Fantastic pubs in nearby villages with great food on offer.

,We had a great time during our stay at the Cow Shed Cottage. The owner received us with a very warm welcome and had prepared the kitchen with flowers, fruits and a pint of milk in the fridge. The heating was on and there was plenty of hot water. Everything was perfect.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
