About the home

Our three bedroom holiday cottage is light and airy in design, with open plan living areas downstairs and a well-equipped kitchen. An outside seating area provides space for you to enjoy our landscaped gardens.

Pendra Loweth is ideal for a relaxing family holiday in Cornwall. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Pendra Loweth's three bedroom cottage accommodates up to six people. The cottage has been finished to a beautiful standard, providing everything you need for a perfect holiday, whatever your taste. It is located in a garden village with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere within this peaceful, secluded Cornish valley.

The ground floor of the cottage features an open plan living and dining room, kitchen, cloakroom and a large under stairs cupboard.

The energetic can work out in our well-equipped gym on the running, cycling and rowing machines or work on a full fitness programme using the weights and floor to complete a full workout.

Why not pamper yourself with a relaxing spell in our spa pool, steam room or spoil yourself in our fast all-over tanning room. There is also a splash pool and outside we have an all-weather tennis court and ball park with basketball nets. For smaller visitors there is a safe and enclosed play area with climbing frame and slide.

Relaxing evenings can be spent in our cafe and bar taking your pick from a range of beers, wines and soft drinks. Or let us take care of dinner and settle in with our bar meals and light bites.

For those who want to take in the finer pleasures of Cornish food, you can enjoy a cream tea in the sunshine. Our complimentary welcome service will make it easy to settle into your Cornish home from home, with all linen provided and beds made up for your arrival.

The West Country / Cornwall region

The Fal Estuary is a designated Special Area of Conservation (SAC), which is the highest marine habitat protection that can be afforded to an area by the European Union. It is also an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty indeed, one of the Fal Estuary's biggest attractions, outside of it's stunning natural beauty, is its abundance of wildlife.

The waters of the Fal Estuary are home to seals which can often be seen from Pendennis Head basking on Black Rock in the summer. They also welcome visits by playful dolphins, basking sharks and sunfish.

There is also plentiful bird life in the form of cuckoos, kingfishers, owls, herons, shags, cormorants and wading birds not to mention the many types of seagull who will be after a bit of your pasty if you're not careful.

Further afield, there’s no limit of things to see and do in the Cornish countryside and off its breathtaking coastline. Whatever you and your family want from your holiday, you’re sure to find a wealth of experiences to make it truly memorable.

The Falmouth / Maen Valley area

Falmouth is a historic, picturesque port full of places to visit and things to do. There are regular events and festivals throughout the year, and there are three beautiful, safe sandy beaches within easy reach of Pendra Loweth.

If you want to be inspired or if it's a rainy day you could visit a local attraction such as the new National Maritime Museum Cornwall that perches on the edge of the harbour and has a fascinating tidal gallery that is submerged at high water. Seafood is a speciality in Falmouth and there are many fine restaurants and pubs of all types. In short, Falmouth has a great deal to offer the whole family whatever the weather.

Within a short distance of Pendra Loweth, there are excellent watersports facilities of almost every kind including sailing, fishing and diving to name but a few. If you fancy learning new watersports then expert tuition is never far away. As well as swimming outdoors, you can swim at the 'Ships and Castles' indoor leisure pool or play golf at one of the local courses.

A deposit of £60 per week per cottage is payable at the time of booking. Should the accommodation not be available, your money will be returned in full. It is advisable to telephone the office beforehand to secure your reservation. The booking office is open 9am - 4.30pm.

The balance of the monies due must be received 28 days before your holiday begins. Failure to comply may result in the loss of your deposit and automatic cancellation of your accommodation with the full cost of your holiday still owing, less any revenue that we may receive from reletting your accommodation.
