Full oil-fired central heating. Electric cooker with built-in fan-assisted oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, colour TV, DVD player. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot & highchair. Small sitting area outside cottage with table and chairs. Off road parking for two cars. Sorry, no smoking and no pets. Shop, pub and supermarket 1.5 miles. Note: Although this property does not accept pets the owners’ dogs occasionally stay in the property. Note: Steep stairs to second floor double make it unsuitable for young children or the infirm. Note: The only shower is located in first floor bedroom.
The West Country / Cornwall region
Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Or could it be the cliff-top theatre at Mynack, working harbours, the world famous Eden project or St Michaels Mount, cut off from the mainland by a causeway. Or even the endless activities on offer; the Camel Cycling and Walking Trail, stunning coastal paths or the National Surf Centre at Newquay’s Fistral beach. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
The Falmouth / Mabe area
Mabe is a little hamlet located four miles from the maritime town and harbour of Falmouth. The area is ideal for those who love spectacular countryside, long scenic walks, or messing around in boats. The surrounding countryside is a beautiful scene of rolling fields, country lanes and mysterious creeks winding their way inland from the sea through lush wooded valleys. The impressive natural harbour of Falmouth is the third largest in the world, and the meandering streets and lovely beaches draw visitors from far and wide all year round. Welcoming harbourside pubs, superb shops, the fascinating Pendennis Castle and the incredible National Maritime Museum, a new addition to the town, make this area a wonderful holiday destination. The picturesque town of St Mawes which is surrounded by the sandy beaches, rocky coves, and gorgeous countryside that characterize the Roseland Peninsula is just across the harbour and can be reached by car or ferry.

A lovely cottage, well equiped and comfortable. The access to the cottage is long and unmade and your own transport is definitely required. The view could be amazing but blocked by dwelling opposite.... more |

,The cottage was beautifully furnished and decorated. Also, the living room and main bedroom were well proportioned. The cottage and garden were well above our expectations. This is a hidden gem of a cottage with a lovely garden and surrounding farmland. The treehouse, trampoline and zipwire were unexpected bonuses which kept the kids entertained for hours. The owner was very helpful and also on hand with a friendly smile regardless of the weather!

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
