Maenporth is only a few miles from the popular yachting haven of Falmouth, within walking distance of the famous Helford river and within easy reach by road of many of Cornwall’s natural sites, private gardens and a wide variety of theme parks. It is also approximately 45 minutes by car from Land’s End and about 20 minutes drive away from the spectacular North Coast.
Maenporth Beach is a unique and beautiful place to relax and enjoy your holiday. There is a daytime cafe on the beach serving a range of food and drink to eat in or takeaway. Sailing and Diving activities for adults and children are organised from the cafe.
There is also the Cove, one of Falmouth's leading restaurants, overlooking Maenporth Beach and Falmouth Bay. There is a focus on locally produced food promoting the quality of Cornish ingredients. The Cove boasts fantastic sea views and was Restaurant of the Year Finalist in the 2004 Cornish Tourism Awards.

A little more about the Maenporth and Falmouth area.
Falmouth has often been called the gem of the Cornish Riviera, and this claim is supported by the town's position at the mouth of the River Fal, with views of the estuary to the east and across the wide sweep of the bay to the south.
Falmouth is a sea and fishing port with all the varied marine activity associated with these occupations. Many of the town's shops, restaurants and bars are adjacent to the harbour. Those interested may walk from Falmouth right round the cliff path to the Helford River or take a boat to Flushing or St. Mawes. Information for these trips can be obtained at the Prince of Wales Pier.
The Helford River is a yachtsman's paradise and boats may be hired for sailing or fishing - this beautiful stretch of water remains completely unspoilt and is a sheltered water.
Creeks run off the main river, among them Frenchman's Creek of Daphne du Maurier fame. The village of Helford is as beautiful as the river and a pedestrian ferry crosses the river from Helford Passage

The bedrooms and lounge have sliding patio doors opening onto large terraces, and views of the beach and Falmouth Bay can be enjoyed from the terraces. The apartment is fully carpeted throughout and is accessed via stairs from an inner hallway.
