Barn | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
-- Nestled on the side of a hill, surrounded by grassy paddocks in the soft South Cornish countryside, Badgers offers seclusion without isolation. Constantine village, with its general store, post office, church etc. is just half a mile walk up the track, whilst a few hundred yards in the other direction is an award winning country pub.
-- The cottage is quirky but cosy, with a light and spacious sitting room on the first floor and high open trussed ceilings. A welcoming and comfortable home to return to after a busy day exploring, be it on foot or by car.
-- The log burning stove in the granite hearth is hard to beat on a winter evening, and the pool table in the outhouse provides a diversion for those of a more competitive spirit.

The West Country region
The countryside of south west Cornwall is green and soft, interspersed with areas of moorland. The coastline is infinitely varied with rugged cliffs, sandy coves, fishing harbours and creeks which cry out to be explored. Once off the main roads, the winding country lanes all seem to lead to a new discovery, whether it be a delightful natural vista or a welcoming west-country pub.
The area abounds with places to visit to captivate the interests of all age groups. Sailing, surfing, fishing, riding, swimming, walking and golf are all within easy reach. Beaches, castles, boat trips, tin mines, art galleries, cliff walks and theme parks, there is something for everyone.
Constantine village provides for all daily requirements, with two general stores one of which is a Post Office and a world class off-licence, a church, doctor's surgery, local museum etc. Several national supermarkets are within ten minutes drive.
The renowned Trengilly Wartha Inn is just 400 yards down the hill and the walk across fields to Scott's Quay on Polwheveral Creek (a branch of the Helford river) is not to be missed.
The Lizard peninsula, Helston with its Flora Day (in May), the seal sanctuary at Gweek, Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens, Falmouth, Pendennis Castle, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, St Ives (with the Tate Gallery) and countless other treats are within easy driving distance.
