It comprises two bedrooms – both upstairs – a double and twin with space for an extra bed or cot. On the ground floor there is a kitchen breakfast room, large bathroom with bath & shower and lounge.
Fabulous location for great walks, dog friendly, close to sailing area of Helford River and Falmouth.

Set in the grounds of Meudon Hotel this cottage is unique with its own garden and access to the private beach, Bream Cove. The Hotel has a yacht that can be booked for sail days and the helford river is close by for hire of boats to wander down the river or to the beaches on the Helford.
Fabulous walking area, great fishing, lovely sandy south coast beaches, exciting new cafes and restaurants with many events and things to see and do, Falmouth 3 miles from cottage. Truro 5 miles from cottage.

Typical of its Atlantic coast, Cornwall is not just for the cornish. Cornwall's rugged cliffs, offers beauty with vast sandy beaches and stunning scenery. Newquay is often used for sufring competitions because of the high rolling waves coming in off the Atlantic.
On coastal stretches, you will see remains of the old tin mines, dating back 300 years or more. and Cornwall is still famous for its traditional Cornish Pasties, which the tin miners used to take down the mines for meals. Now with the addition of the pasty tax they are still traditionally Cornish and very tasty!!
The Falmouth / Mawnan Smith area
Falmouth, known as the sailing capital of Cornwall, is renowned for being the third deepest natural port in the world.. Many fish restaurants and boat trips and the National Maritime Museum, Port Pendennis. Pendennis Castle built in the 16th Century sits high above the harbour with truly magical panoramic views across the bay. Fal River Link Ferries to St Mawes and visit Henry VIII’s sister castle or take a delightful trip around the estuary stopping off at either Trelissick Gardens or Smugglers Cottage for a cream tea.
Falmouth Regatta Week, in August is the town's major event both on and off the water, fireworks spectacular back drop for some high class racing. Oyster Festival shows off the rivers heritage. Pendennis Shipyard host luxury yachts for re-fit and and in June 2012 Falmouth will host the J Class Regatta, the most spectacular event since the Tall Ships Race last visited in 2008. Rick Stein Fish & Chip Restaurant & Oyster Bar to Discovery Quay adding to the superb mix across the town.

High speed First Great Western train services run frequently from London Paddington station including the Night Riviera Sleeper Service to Penzance where customers are welcome to remain on board until 7.00am

Newquay Cornwall Airport has recently introduced a dedicated bus stop to the west of the terminal building. . Car hire is available at Newquay Cornwall Airport through Europcar and Hertz or Cornwall Classic Car Hire who will meet you at the terminal.
