Situated on Falmouth's Prince of Wales Pier, this light, bright duplex apartment offers spacious living accommodation, both inside and out, boasting mesmerising harbour views.

No.1 The Pier is the largest in the contemporary apartment development which stands proud on the site of the old King's Hotel in the heart of Falmouth, on the Prince of Wales Pier. Enjoying a truly superb location, this stylish two-bedroomed apartment is just a short stroll away from the restaurants, museums and boutiques of this delightful Cornish town and a drive from the splendours of this corner of Great Britain.

The luxurious feel of this holiday choice begins as soon as you open the electric security gates and park the car in your secure, reserved spot. Walk through No.1's front door and you are immediately struck by the light and space on offer in this stunning duplex apartment. The ground floor is of open-plan design and features a stunning double-height wall dotted with large windows. Simply decorated using a cool palette of whites and creams with a polished wooden floor, the owners have punctuated this bright, light space with stylish soft furnishings in contemporary, colourful fabrics.

To the rear of this large sociable area is a generously proportioned kitchen, decked out in white light-reflecting units and featuring a modern glass-topped table seating six in comfort. Modern appliances including fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer have been provided to ensure that self-catering here is simply a pleasure and an opportunity to sample the fresh, locally-caught seafood available in Falmouth.

The heart of this lovely apartment is the large lounge area, furnished with generous sofas and comfy chairs and boasting fabulous harbour views. Here, again, every wish has been catered for and the owners have equipped the lounge with a large flat-screen Freeview TV, a DVD player with surround sound, WiFi and even an X Box. The living space continues outdoors, spilling onto the superb decked terrace. Furnished with two separate seating areas – one with relaxed, low-level rattan sofa and matching armchairs and the other housing a generous round table with seating for six people - this outdoor terrace is the perfect spot for lazy afternoons spent boat and people-watching.

The sleeping accommodation is located on the upper floor, reached by the long flight of stairs framed by pretty white banisters. The master suite is a double room with king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom comprising W.C. and power shower. The second bedroom, a twin, is of a good size. The apartment benefits from a family bathroom with W.C., deep bath and separate power shower.

No.1 The Pier offers a unique opportunity to stay in the heart of a town renowned as one of the world's great water-sport centres in a contemporary, spacious and tastefully decorated apartment: An ideal choice for a fun-filled holiday in the heart of the action.

Guests are advised that this is a second floor apartment accessed via a stairway and is therefore unsuitable for those with restricted mobility. The convenient town centre location does mean that on occasion some background noise may be audible.
