The West Country region
Cornwall is often described as the 'garden capital of the world' as the lush vegetation and colour give garden lovers a feast for the eyes all year round.
Whether you are a serious horticulturist, specialist gardener, enthusiastic amateur, holidaymaker or a day-tripper, Cornwall's magnificent gardens can show you everything from wild woodland to neatly manicured lawns, the small and unusual, those with eccentric features, to the large and famous – whose plants, flowers, palms and trees thrive in Cornwall’s mild coastal climate. An ideal location for walking gardens and sailing in Cornwall.
Listed below are links to some of Cornwalls most popular visitor attractions:
Eden project, Gardens in Cornwall, Trebah Garden, The National Maritime Museum, Cornwall Cycle Hire, Gweek Seal Sanctuary, Futurestation @ Goonhilly, Minack Theatre, Pendennis Castle, Falmouth Week, Stithians Lake and Fal Wooden Boat Hire.
The local village is just a mile away and provides a shop/ post office and a pub, a pleasant walk on a summers evening. Further shops and a supermarket are just 3 miles distant.

Falmouth is just 10 minutes drive and boasts the stunning beaches of Gyllyngvase, Swanpool and Maenporth together with a variety of places to visit and things to do for all the family, including a trip to Pendennis Castle and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall.
If water is your passion, there are many watersports, fishing and sailing facilities on offer in Falmouth and at Mylor Harbour. Why not hire a traditional wooden sailing boat - with or without a skipper from Fal Wooden Boat Hire.
The National Trust gardens of Trelissick and Glendurgan together with Trebah Garden are nearby with many more within 45 minutes drive, including Lanhydrock House at Bodmin and Trerice near Newquay.
The world renowned Eden Project, the ‘eighth wonder of the world’ is a must see attraction during your visit to Cornwall along with the Lost Gardens of Heligan - both within easy reach.
