Tresahor Vean Barn
About the home
The traditional stone built barn, with its architect designed cedar and glass extension, is situated in the courtyard of Tresahor Vean. Our seven acre holding is no longer agricultural, but is mostly planted to woodland. Around the house there is a garden of about a quarter of an acre. From the house and the wooden terrace, there are views across uninterrupted countryside. This is a place surrounded by green, where the stars fill the sky. You can hear the owls call, the songbirds sing and the buzzards mewing as they coast the thermals down the valley. For family and friends who appreciate the peace of the countryside, but are within easy reach of the Helford River and the sea.

The West Country / Cornwall region
Cornwall is noted for its beautiful beaches and coves, and for its woodlands and rivers - and boasts twelve areas of outstanding natural beauty. It is the ideal holiday location for outdoor pursuits from gentle walking to abseiling and fishing. There are also plenty of historical and archeological sites to explore: castles, churches, stately homes and of course the art galleries, museums and world famous Eden Project.
The Falmouth / Constantine area
Tresahor Vean Barn is situated in the narrowest part of Cornwall, with easy access to both South and North Coasts and to the Helford River. It is an area reknowned for its watersports, birdwatching, coastal and country walking.
The nearest village of Constantine has its own riding stables and a museum and arts centre with a lively theatre, music and film programme, where, for example, the world famous Kneehigh theatre company launch their smaller productions! There are gardens (Glendurgan and Trebah for example) and art galleries to visit and good cooking to sample both locally, at the prize winning Trengilly Wartha pub or the Potager cafe.
Golfing, fishing and water sport centres, boat trips and a choice of beaches are all within a 8-10 km radius The nearest town is Falmouth with its own theatre and cinemas and family friendly art gallery - and the award winning Maritime Museum. Falmouth also has a wealth of independent shops, restaurants, cafes and waterside and beachside bars and eateries. And the Georgian towns of Helston and Truro are not too far away either!
