Originally a detached coach house and stables, which has just undergone a 3 year renovation project to provide luxury holiday letting accommodation for up to 10 people +cot.

The Old Stables stands within the grounds of "The Copperhouse" a Grade II listed building built around 1780. This rural position is set in the centre of a triangle approx between Truro - Falmouth - Redruth with the beaches of the South Coast 5 miles, the North Coast 8 miles and Lands End 20 miles making it perhaps one of the best central positions for visiting the whole of Cornwall.

All bedding, towels, (please bring your own beach towels) toiletries (soap, shower gel & toilet rolls) are provided.

Stable Yard Patio and Garden

There is a spacious, raised and enclosed south facing patio/barbeque area. The centrepiece is a large raised pebble pool with a cascading copper fountain.

The original stable stall doors are featured in the high walls together with the now antique cast iron feeding troughs. At the far end there is a large gas barbecue with marble worktop, tap and sink adjoining.

Ample seating (for 20+ people) with picnic tables, hardwood benches and armchairs. There are also 3 x jumbo size umbrellas available for guests' use.

There is a disabled/wheelchair access ramp to the patio as well as wall lighting installed for nightime use. Wide granite steps lead to a large grassed garden. Play area with trampoline available in the summer months.

There are plenty of places of interest including beautiful gardens and the world renowned Eden Project.

Falmouth

Gwennap is situated midway between Falmouth and Redruth. Adjacent to the well known, award winning Burncoose Estate Gardens and Nurseries.

This stunning location is ideal for families, friend or couple. Breathtaking scenery and a warm country atmosphere make it the ideal place to relax and unwind

"Disappointed"

Well situated for site seeing. large dog friendly (garden not secure) property which is well equipped. Unfortunately I would not rate it 5* as the fixtures & fittings have not been kept in good condit… More
