This is a cosy, detached 18 century cottage restored to very high spec. With private parking and your own patio/garden the cottage is a short walk from the village centre and the amazing Falkland Palace. Whether you are active or chilling - find out why guests come back to Courtside!!

Private south-facing patio and mature terraced garden. Double glazing, gas central heating and a peat stove ensure a cosy stay. Child friendly. The property is also designed for the comfort of less mobile guests (but call us first please).

Three pubs and a hotel provide good food and local entertainment close by. Shops, a pharmacy and bank also serve the village.

Mobility Features. The cottage has a stair lift and walk-in shower/wet room with grab rails. The stair is fairly narrow. Less mobile guests requiring the stair lift must contact us at the earliest opportunity to ensure the facilities in total meet their needs completely.

Wide internal doors throught. Two ground floor bedrooms, two shower/toilet rooms (one is en-suite).

An electric (Minivator) stair lift connects to lounge/diner. (Please contact us for key dimensions and video of operation)

Family wet room with bidet (inc support rails).

A motorized recliner/riser armchair on the upper floor enables safe standing/seating movements and is also very comfortable.

Power sockets and controls lie between 40 and 110 cm from the floor. All handles and taps are lever operated. Click on the web site link for more details or call.

Further details outdoors

The cottage lies about 300 m west from the village centre and its shops, restaurants and pubs. A similar distance to the east lies Falkland Estate with its miles of walking and cycling tracks.

The estate has several miles of flat tarmac track that would be suitable for prams, buggies and wheelchairs.

The Fife region

Fife lies about 40 minutes North of Edinburgh and a similar amount of time South of the scottish highlands.

St Andrews is about 30 minutes by car and the forty odd courses that are the Home of Golf are between 20 and 60 minutes away from the Cottage. Falkland itself has a nine hole course.
