Sculthopre is a good base to explore the north norfolk area with its lovely sandy beaches, beautiful landscape and open skies. There is a pitch and put course in Sculthorpe.
The nearby market town of Fakenham (2km) has a Thursday market and offers a good range of shopping and eateries. Burnham Market and Wells next the Sea are approx 15 minute drive away.

Lavendar Cottage is a very well equipped and comfortable home from home. It has a lovely cottage garden and is extremely peaceful. A good supply of holiday novels and a good range of dvds should the weather turn wet!

Lavendar Cottage has it own garden with outdoor furniture and barbecue, but, is part of the owners very large garden, which creates a very peaceful and secluded atmosphere.

A welcome pack is provided on arrival containing milk,tea,coffee and biscuits.
Conditions
The property is suitable for children but not the very young as there is a pond nearby.
20% of rental fee on booking with the balance paid three weeks before the due date.
We do not take credit or debit cards.

The East Anglia / Norfolk region
East Anglia is famous for it wide open skies, lovely beaches, Colmans mustard and lavender.
It is also popular with artists as the landscape is beautiful.
East Anglia is also of interest to birdwatchers and Sculthorpe has the Hawk and Owl Trust on its doorstep. Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and Gardens (of interest to SPRINGWATCH viewers) is only a short drive away (10 mins). Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham beaches are beautiful and great for long walks as even in the Summer they do not get too crowded and are approx 15 mins drive from Sculthorpe.
The Fakenham area
Fakenham has a market every Thursday. It has a cinema with three screens and a good variety of places to eat.
Sandringham, the Queens summer home is half an hours drive away.
Norwich is a lovely city to visit with its colourful market and quaint back streets with a good selection of independent shops.
