During a recent trip through Ireland my wife and I found ourselves outside of Waterford looking for a place to stay and had the good fortune of being directed to a nice apartment in the village of Cheek Point run by Ben and Marie Power. We stayed only one night but if I were exploring SE Ireland more extensively this would be my base. During our short stay we walked through the village and down to the river and harbor visiting with a number of the locals along the way. We found the apartment to be comfortable and a good value and as a plus, Ben is a character and a guy you'd love to sit down and have a pint with. |
