In the case you need to recover from your daily stress with a purely relaxing holiday, then you will find a very quite atmosphere for you, your family or friends in our enjoyable Villa La Valle.
The morning you will decide either to wake up earlier, jog on the country roads and then return for a healthy breakfast under the portico or to sleep longer then swim a little in the pool (it measures 6 x 11 m) just to wake really up and finally read your magazine drinking a freshly made cup of coffee. It's up to you.
Family Alberelli will warmly welcome you to Villa La Valle. Our goal is to make your stay such to meet as much as possible your expectations. Independently of what you are looking for there are some fundamentals we are putting all our best efforts to respect such as cleanliness, good and efficient maintenance of the Villa (for instance the pool, the garden, etc.).
Villa La Valle is ideally placed and structured for families or group of friends looking for a peaceful stay, culture and other life-enjoying thinks like good food and wine (please read our article about the Italian Wine-streets).
The location – dipped into the Umbria's green fields and woods, directly on the top of the hill of the Borgo di Carnaiola with astonishing view over the valley – is ensuring absolute quietness, no cars, no rush but also just a few km's trip to the A1 Highway exit of Fabro (that is the fastest connection between the two cities of Rome and Florence). The rail station is also very close.
The Villa can host up to 10 people in the spacious 4 bed rooms (2 of them with double bed and 2 with double bed and single bed), 4 bathrooms (shower/WC/bidet), large livings and kitchens. At the lower floor laundry and garage.
All this is dividen into two twin units (for 5 people each) so that if you're traveling two families you can enjoy your vacation together but by keeping your privacy.
The garden surrounding the pool and the whole Villa is always kept well maintained. Every two days a complete and thorough pool maintenance will take place; but do not worry we will do it either early in the morning without disturbing you or by agreeing first with you the best timing.
The Villa hasn't been built with special features for wheelchair users; however we have had several guests requiring special conditions and they could fully enjoy our Villa.
If you need any kind of specific information we will do our best in answering precisely to your questions.

About this location
The Umbria region
The territory of the Orvieto Region is located in the south-western Umbria, on the border with Lazio.
Characterized by an interesting and varied landscape of volcanic origin, alternating hills, plains, caves and underground tunnels, this region features numerous picturesque villages, castles and "Borghi" of medieval origin, unspoilt nature with woods and Mediterranean vegetation, cities offering lifestyles on a human scale.
Significant signs of peasant culture with ancient farmhouses, dots in the landscape, and centuries-old traditions that evoke memories and authentic traditions.
Borgo di Carnaiola represents a very good starting point for trips to Rome or Florence (1.5 hrs by car) and to reach the many small towns in Umbria (Orvieto, Todi, etc.) and Tuscany (Montepulciano, Chianciano, Montalcino, etc.).
Borgo di Carnaiola has a quite interesting medieval castle (further fastened 16th/17th century) and the atmosphere is really charming.
The Villa is secluded though close to all necessary services.
Fabro Scalo (1 km away) is a small village, has however several stores where you can find all what you need for the daily necessities. There are also a few simple but nice restaurants if you don't want to cook for yourselves.
