Parking in the front allows 45 minutes to unload at Front Door and there is off road Parking at the rear for residents.
This accommodation would ideally suit those looking for a quiet stay within short walking distance of all amenities. For those who enjoy walking the Coastal walk starts within 50 meters of Market View and leads to Burnmouth to the South or St Abbs and Pease Bay to the North.
There is a links 18 hole golf course is just a short walk away within 0.5 mile which admits non members for a small fee and offers restaurant facilities overlooking the sea.
Those more adventurous may prefer to Dive with the local diving companies on the harbour.
Local interests nearby are to be found in the Historic walled Border town of Berwick upon Tweed or inland at the numerous castles that surround the area on both sides of the Border.
The local restaurants reflect the catches of the day being landed at the nearby Harbour, and the Museums located in the Old Kirk, Harbour and Gunsgreen tell the story of the past.

The Scottish Borders region
Eyemouth is a small Fishing Port situated in the South East Border area of Scotland and only 5 miles North of the English Border.
It is famous for its Fish restaurants. An area of small Wynd's used to house underground tunnels under the houses that indicates its smuggling past, the story being told in the Local Museums at The Kirk, Harbour and Gunsgreen House. Eyemouth boasts a links Golf Course and plenty of Diving for those who prefer exploring underwater. Walkways lead up and down the coast to Cocksburnpath, Pease Bay and St Abbs to the North or Burnmouth and the English Border town of Berwick upon Tweed to the South. It also has a nice sandy beach to relax on at the Bantry.
The Area is steeped in History from the past indicating Viking Raids of Lindisfarne, at Holy Island only accessible at Low tide via a causeway, or the Border Castles that tell the story of the battles between both Scotland and England before its unification under King James and the Riever families, that he tricked in winning the peace.

"Excellent flat and a great holiday"
Market View is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay: we felt at home straight away. It is surprisingly spacious and very well appointed, Liz and Chris seem to have thought of everything.There's plenty of storage space and the decor is very thoughtful and attractive. It is, of course, spotlessly clean and well maintained.Being in the town centre it is very handy for the shops (which open very early (from 6 o'clock) in Eyemouth, the bustling and interesting harbour, the beach and the attractions. Amazingly for a town of only 3000, Eyemouth has 3 museums, all of them a must to visit. Market View is ideal as a base for North Northumberland as well as the Scottish Borders. Eyemouth is on the Berwickshire coastal route with amazing sea views and some of the best seabird colonies in Britain,St. Abbs Head is a spectacular walk with thousands of seabirds. Great walking country all around as well as the many stately homes of the Borders. It's a great part of the world and Market View is a great place to stay.
